Eminently Bribable President

Post by Moksha »

What would you do if offered a palatially decked-out Boeing 747?

My guess is that Bribezilla would go all the way on a first date with one of those Sheik boys!!!

Talk about winning biggly.

'Completely out of bounds': Trump ripped over $300M windfall from Chinese-backed company

A struggling tech firm with connections to China and a reliance on the Chinese social platform TikTok has reportedly secured funding to purchase up to $300 million worth of President Donald Trump's memecoin.

The New York Times reported that GD Culture Group became, on Monday, the latest foreign-linked entity to capitalize on $Trump, Trump's cryptocurrency initiative that funnels profits directly to the Trump family.

This thread is unlikely to progress due to its lack of depth and engaging content.

Secondly, the expression "imminently bribable" lacks clarity. You might consider titling your thread "easily bribable," "highly corruptible," or "susceptible to bribery."

I think this should be “eminently bribable.”

In any case, Trump is not just eminently bribable, he set out to get bribes before he took office for the second time. His meme coin was a deliberate scheme to make it so that people could buy something from him while he was in office that would carry with it the expectation of favorable treatment from him. He is currently being bribed to the tune of billions of dollars and is a grave security threat to this nation. We knew he was a security threat when he illegally held onto classified documents and stored them in a bathroom at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

Good point. Trump is all of those things. As Kishkumen pointed out, he is dangerous to the nation in terms of seeking bribes.

Do you think any Republicans will care?

Zeihen's take is realistic. The tariffs are entirely unclear, changing, not codified in any standard way, and the immense staff needed to oversee the calculation and collection just isn't available. Therefore, the only way forward is bribes.

Ziehan has a lot of videos on tariffs. Can you provide a link for the one most helpful for conveying this interpretation?

I'm really enjoying your board janitor turn. Still every bit as dumb, but I enjoy the sass and you speak in actual sentences now.

Can we also include, ‘already bribed’?

Between the multiple memecoin scams, pay-to-access memecoin contest, and inauguration payments, we have long moved on from ‘imminent’ to ‘eminent’.

Wait, are you saying that it might be stupid and dangerous for the Nation to have Trump use - as our airborne command and control center - an airplane ‘gifted’ to us by a foreign government with no clear allegiance to us? With the plan for it to be ‘donated’ to the Trump Library a year before he leaves office? Convenient, yes?

Surely, we should place the security of our nation into the lap of a ‘gift’ of mysterious provenance, built to unknown standards and probably bugged from stem to stern with foreign monitoring and listening devices. Because the safety of America means nothing to a fellow trying to build another getaway hotel property in Syria and Riyadh. Donny needs his freebie bribe plane, national security be damned.

What could possibly go wrong? o_O

Also, for Markk … how is this ‘Buy American’?
