Rockland County Lawsuit

If this has been posted about before, I apologize. I just don't recall seeing it.

Right now, there's a lawsuit making its way through the court system regarding the last election. If the preliminary evidence is accurate, there's one heckuva statistical anomaly, and voters who didn't have their votes counted.

For some background, the key to this resides in how Rockland County votes were counted in the election. As an example, in NY district 55, 909 people voted for Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Of those 909 people who voted for the Democratic Senator, only 2 voted for the Democratic Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris. A similar thing happened in district 35. There were 331 voters who cast ballots for the Democratic Senator, while there were zero votes cast for Kamala Harris (552 votes were cast for Trump).

As an added curveball, there were affidavits collected of more than 2 voters in district 55 that attested they voted for Harris (remember, only 2 votes were counted).

It's possible that Harris was such a horrible candidate that voters in these districts were willing to take the time to vote for Gillibrand, and not Harris. It's possible that people were willing to commit perjury in signing the affidavits that they voted for Harris in the election.

Or maybe, as Trump has said when thanking Musk for helping win the election, Elon Musk "knows those vote counting computers."

I believe the last ruling was that discovery is to proceed forward.

That's pretty disturbing news, Steuss. I will be following this story to see whether it has any credibility and shows what appears to show.

I thought allegations of voter fraud were just conspiracy theories.

I think someone would be hard pressed to say all allegations of voter fraud are just conspiracies, given the sheer number of Trump voters that have been convicted of engaging in voter fraud. Large scale voter fraud, that involves voting systems or officials on the other hand should require some level of skepticism, given the safeguards that are generally in place (and the lack of historical examples). So far, the presiding Justice of the relevant Supreme Court ordered that discovery is to move forward, partly based on the election boards answer to the lawsuit.

There are likely various explanations why an area that is almost 20% African American would vote 100% for a Republican presidential candidate, and 90% for a Democratic senator, despite national exit polls indicating that 92% of African American women voted for Harris. Most of those explanations would likely be rendered moot though with the existence of the affidavits that were claimed within the initial filing. I guess time will tell if the affidavits were fraudulent.

So far (at least from what's claimed in the filing), we don't just have a wild statistical anomaly. We also have sworn statements from voters regarding how they cast their votes.

That is pretty crazy. There's something going on it at least that town. After I saw your post, I looked at numbers for a few states; if there's anything there, it might take Sage to figure it out.

Montana and Nevada both had incongruence between Democrat Senator votes and Kamala. Nevada has this "none of the above" option that seems to indicate many who voted for the Democrat senator must have also voted Trump. The Democrat senator was white, but also female, so it could indicate Kamala was quite unpopular with folks who were willing to vote Democrat for -- association with Biden? who knows.

Utah had many more votes for the Republican Senator than for Trump and more votes for Kamala than for the Democrat Senator.

That’s what you got out of the entirety of all those discussions, huh?

Voter fraud is a thing and if allegations point to an actionable case, then it should go forward. Incidentally, 2020 had a lot more Biden votes than there were for the democrat senators and house of representatives in many states. Nevada was one of those as well as Michigan and Georgia. So take that for what it's worth.

No, they were reason to bring felony criminal charges to any Republican who dared to file the case in court.
