Mormon way of doing business

With the emmergence fof YouTube and other internet ways of getting your message
out, Do you think this will grow to be one of the primary ways the LDS will package
their message?

Take for instance the following YouTube video, It gives the message that if you want to be
moral and also be successful in business then come join us and do it the Mormon way.
This message looks very appealing. I think this will work for them better than tracking. I
am surprised that there wasn't a tag line at the end...

It was advertising for a book. However, the idea that a better code of ethics could be attained in a capitalist society is encouraging. Some of the ideas inherent in religion such as caring, honesty and not being greedy is sorely needed.

I would have to agree with you. And, if you can get past some of the non-sensical beliefs of the LDS church, their ideals of "helping each other", dedication to family and the like are great. However, some things like honesty seem to me to be a bit relative, if you start discussing details of their religion.

It might have been advertizing for a book, but it has the secondary effect to be advertising for a culture. The Mormon culture.

The 'Mormon Way' is the reason Utah is known as the Fraud Capitol of the Country to the FBI and other Federal law enforcement agencies.

Save us from dealing with 'Mormon' businesses. If I find out a business if Mormon owned or even more serious, LDS Church owned and/or operated, I run away quickly. Having done business in the past with 'The Church' and 'The Lard's University', I choose not to do business with people like that ever again. Just now worth the hassle. Al Capone is more honest and he didn't rely on 'The Lard' to justify his stealing and cheating.

It also leads to the idea that because sometimes wealth is a reward given by God the fact that you are wealthy somehow means you're right in God's sight.

Exactly. Someone bore a testimony once about their mission president, and that they belive he was wealthy through righteousness, etc. I couldn't say "amen" to that one.

I wasn't aware Dunn ever tied money into righteousness. I thought he was more of a "faith-promoting story, turned lie" kinda guy.

I've seen several videos of soon to be Mormon missionaries reading their mission calls(?).....kinda interesting to see the large amounts of excitement those kids have for their mission call mail announcement....but whatever.

Also there's a channel of people bearing their testimonies (that's right....nothing but testimonies).
