..I am surprised that there wasn't a tag line at the end...
What do you think?
I think I'm a little off topic here.
It's nice to know there are some Mormons out there that appear to be honest in their business dealings. I think that's one of the reasons why they refferred to the better philosophies of the church rather than the church itself.
Over the years, the most troublesome business relationships I've had were with Mormons. They, and the born again Christians are the most unpredictable bunch.
Man, I can't stand associating with cheap, unappreciative people that sport an unhealthy sense of entitlement.
I have learned by sad experience that if anyone introduces themselves to me with the tag like "I'm Mormon" or "born again", or if they know from an aquaintance that I am a Mormon and attempt to make our common ground our religeon - well, I make a grab for my wallet before they do, and run.
It impresses me that the guys on the Utube video would prefer to keep their affiliation with the church low key.
I have been most impressed by business people that would rather keep their religious affilitation a secret at least until after the transaction, work or contract is fullfilled. That's how I've learned to do business more safely.
I've been in the habit of emphasizing to my Mormon associates (and friends) that do work for my family that I am hiring them because of their honesty and expertise, not because we expect a good deal out of a sense of entitlement or community.
There is a lot to be said on this subject specifically and probably warrants a few seperate threads.
