Does what seem "more than just a tad creepy"?

My two brief Facebook references to my son's appearance in the Deseret News, or the fact that somebody apparently hates me enough to track even such innocent things down and use them as a pretext for publicly denigrating my son simply because he's my son?

Definitely the latter. Downright creepy. A bit scary, too, if you ask me.

This is all very funny coming from someone who has created their own Wikipedia page, two public Facebook pages announcing that they are a public figure, and so shamelessly plugs their blog posts.

I think the truly bizarre behavior to behold on this thread is that of Bro. Peterson. If being disingenuous was an Olympic sport I think it's pretty clear who just took home the gold medal.

I've created no Wikipedia page. (I don't know how to create one, nor even how to edit one; I've never thought about it.)

There is, I understand, a Facebook "fan page" for me. I don't know who set it up, and I never look at it. (Not because of any particular objection to it. The fact is that, until Eric mentioned it, I had completely forgotten about it.)

I confess that I have a Facebook account. It's of relatively recent vintage, though, and I don't do much with it. Moreover, I'm told that I'm not the only person with one. I set it up initially because somebody recommended that I look at something on Facebook and, if I recall correctly, I found out that I needed to have a Facebook account in order to see it.

Pretty sordid behavior on my part, I freely admit.

Well, Bro. Peterson, I think you've given us plenty of reasons in this thread to take your word as genuine and sincere. After all the posts on this thread, it would be hard for anyone to justify doubting your straightforwardness.

Anyways, as usual, I strongly object to your hyperbolic characterization of my lighthearted commentary and refer to my version of my motivation here.

As creepy as emailing the parent of an adult poster to tell them they are criticizing the Church on a message board?

LOL.

You'll still be beating that dead horse when you're 80 years old.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.
