Well, try to just be yourself here. I am glad you and your wife are in love and that is kinda neat that her mom was your mom's midwife for your birth.

We have several members of this forum who are unmarried Mormon men. They would not be prideful about being single, but I hope they are not ashamed of it. I think that you are right that most LDS people think that marriage is the preferred status, but there is an understanding that not everyone will get married.

Which I understand might have changed in 20 years. I see Mormons are constanly evolving much faster than the christian.

The History and foundations of Christianity is full of holes as well as horror and abominations. Have you seriously studies it at all?

I'm what you would call a mustard seed Christian. I'm barely holding on. And Jesus is the hook I hold on to. I'm devastated by Christian history. Mabye we are supposed to
Live in peace. But I have not much. Only a small vine. And I cling to it because I know the honest alternative of no god. I've studied and even begged for "no god" for decades And it's too horrible to contemplate the end of such a conviction.

Mormons are ducks in a pond. They have the weakest history and phropets that I have ever encountered. So it's so easy to mock them.

Stop following lying anti-mormons who use a little truth to tell great lies, and maybe you would realize that Mormonism isn't so "weak" in comparison to other religions. As someone who's actually been in other religions, knowing the Bible, and that no religion practiced it accurately and in full, until I came upon Mormonism, I know what I'm talking about. I also know what I'm talking about because I left the Church once, and was anti-mormon and anti-religion. I personally know how anti-mormons lie about the Church. Fortunately, I had faith by putting away my judgments and kept learning. THEN the full truth came. Faith precedes the miracle.

1. Adam God is NOT what anti-mormons portray it as. More lying.

2. Personal opinions of individuals within the Church have nothing to do with the Church itself. There was never any theology within Mormonism about "men on the moon". Learn the difference.

3. Unless you change your "sources", you're not going to change your attitude. Study out of the best books, and works of Mormonism directly, and THEN judge.

You should learn the difference between anti-mormon bearing false witness of LDS history, doctrines, statements etc., compared to the actual reality and truth of what has "changed" or "evolved" within Mormonism.

In other words, what THEY say has changed etc., isn't the actual truth of the matter.
