Who does the Mormons worship?

Post by _dogmatic »

Who does the Mormons worship? Would they say it's wrong to worship Christ? Or the holy Spirit?

Thank you i wanted to know the modern understanding How come your prophets explicitly say that you only worship father not Jesus. I don't understand the link between Prophets. Aperantly thier prophecy has a few year limit on thier truths. then it all gets changed. Please explain honestly why you go against your prophets in worshiping Jesus in the modern church??

Your ignorance and misrepresentation of our beliefs is not us going against Prophets and anything "changing".

We worship the Father, through the Son, and by the Holy Ghost.
The Son and the Holy Ghost receive a "form" of worship, because it is through them that all things reach the Father.

Our worship is to be to the Father, and the Father alone. But there also a lower level of worship of the Son and the Holy Ghost. Without them, there is no worship of the Father. Without the Holy Ghost, there is no Worship of the Son.

Christ said in the Bible, not to worship him, but to worship the Father alone.
However, the Bible also says that there is worship given to the Son.
The difference is the intent, focus, and level of worship. There is no contradiction, only degree and focus.
For example, those religions who take Jesus Worship to the extreme, by saying Jesus Jesus Jesus in every word, are actually engaging in idol worship. Our focus is to be on the Father, and our worship of Christ is only to the necessary degree to get to the Father.

Another example, just because someone seeks the Holy Ghost in all their doings, doesn't mean that is their MAIN worship. One can wrongly make such their worship and focus, but the focus on the Holy Ghost doesn't detract from what their actual and ultimate focus should be, which is the Father.

My love and focus on my child, doesn't and should not detract from the love and focus I am to have for my wife, and also for my God. Again, degree and focus.
