What are the mild barley drinks of the 1800's referred to in the word of wisdom?
Doesn't matter because we are in the now which can't be set aside. Do you think I'm making some sort of argument about the 1800's WoW? Read more carefully.

No. I think you are avoiding what 'mild barley drinks' meant in the 1800's. That's either because you don't know or because you don't want to say. Which one I wonder........?

I think you're trying to change the subject.
LOL!
Can anyone else help bcspace answer this question?

Why can't you just answer the question? What are you afraid of?

Bcspace, I know you find the question about mild barley drinks a tad difficult to answer. So here's an easier one.
What does this mean?
To be sent greeting; not by commandment or constraint

Nothing. But Drifting implies he knows the answer so why doesn't he say it? Doesn't matter for purposes of this thread. We are in the now no matter how much Drifting wants to set it aside. Nothing has been added to or taken away from the WoW in the time we've had R rated movies and such ratings have not been consistent. In other words, you'll have to deal with my example on how I agree with ldsfaqs whether you like it or not. You'll get no better answer from me as long as you keep trying to change the goal posts.

Actually, YOU don't know what mild barley drinks meant in the 1800's.
There were many home made barley drinks which were anything from a sweat drink treat for kids to slightly strong (non-alcohol, or extremely low) barley drinks. These things didn't get you drunk, etc. If it did, it was no longer "mild".....

A sweat (perspiration) drink doesn't sound too appetizing. Maybe you meant "sweet drink"?
This is one of the problems, ldsfaqs. Your spelling, grammar and syntax is so poor that no one can take it seriously. I'm guessing that you think that your posts are deep and profound, but all anyone see's is a lack of education.
Give some thought to going back to school and improving your communication skills. You'll do a lot better on the boards.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.
