There are very few who can twist the truth like the Evangelicals! They change "if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments" to just walking down the isle and making a verbal profession of faith despite James clear statement, "can faith save him" (context Albion!).
If you look it up in a real Hebrew dictionary it will tell you that Elohim is the plural of God! When the Biblical prophets saw God, they saw Christ at His right hand, just as Joseph Smith saw Him! The "one God" is a figurative statement meaning Godhead, which the Bible also states! "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine." Is it sound or logical doctrine to pray to yourself?!? Is it logical to land on yourself at your own baptism and throw your voice from heaven stating that you are well pleased with yourself?!? Is it sound doctrine that part of your one would know when the one would return, but the other part would not?!?
Jesus had emptied Himself before his incarnation. Jesus was a man at the time. He prayed as we need to do, in order to commune with His Father whilst a man. In this Jesus as practicing what he preached. THREE BEINGS EQUALING ONE GOD EQUATES TRIUNE. The Hebrew verb and adjective takes the plurality of Elohim and makes it majestic and combined. Mormons call themselves Latter Day Saints --- I think the time began then. It is interesting that Mormonism and the promotion of evolutary thought both appear just about the very same time. One proports to "correct " the Word of God and the other usurps it.
