Huh. I'm still alive. Guess I am a better person than the "bastard" child of David.

You are in fact, a better person than all those infants God drowned during Noahs rain!

If one of You didn't get it:

only to those who are deserving

For example the pharaoh, ehhh:

LittleNipper wrote:Exodus 7:1-25 ... God will harden Pharaoh’s heart ...

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
...
3 And I harden the heart of Pharaoh ...
4 and Pharaoh doth not hearken ...

That stupid, obstinate pharaoh...

- God hardened his heart (to not be able to hearken)
- then he didn't hearken
- then he deserved what he got

Fine.

- then he can go the direction he is seeing...

you are misrepresenting that scripture, it is obvious form the context that God's message is the occasion NOT the cause of the Pharaoh's heart condition, and more so God will not cause it soften.

It's amazing to me how there are so many here who know the beginning to the end of all things better than God does, and therefore are capable of passing judgment on God Himself!

God knows exactly what Pharaoh is like. The guy was a real nasty, selfish, it's all about him kind of guy. God allows Satan to have his way with Pharaoh, so that Pharaoh becomes a caricature of himself.

Oh, the first baby of David and Bathsheba TOTALLY deserved to be killed for the adultery of her parents. Nice!

Yep. No worries everyone! God is mean..., but only to those who deserve it...which is apparently everyone!

Praise!

Well, if they were smart, like us, they wouldn't have chosen to be born egyptian....Dumbarses...Deserved everything they got...

The problem isn't that they were Egyptians, the problem is that they forgot how the Hebrews got there and why. And the Egyptians also put their faith in crap, even though the Hebrews have been there to show them the real Lord. Not much different from today.

In the wise words of Bobby Brown.. 2 can play that game.

Isaac Newton: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

God can soften a hard heart, God can't soften a hard heart.
God can murder, God doesn't like murder.
God wants his children to learn about him, God wants to keep his mysteries secret.

& because God is Omnipotent... His failings are also.

What is obvious, is that the Bible is full of contradiction and non sense.

You are confused, Newton was talking about Physics, we are talking about more about Theology/Spiritual.

An illogical conclusion, unless you are conceding that since you are at times happy, at times sad, at times private, at times public, at times wanting, and at times giving therefore you too are full of contradiction and non sense.....which, given the evidence of your posts, is reasonable.

God deals with each person in light of knowing that person's true heart condition. God cannot murder ---- He does allow dead. The Creator cannot murder what rightfully belongs to Him.
