How do they know it isn't God?

HuH? You come up with the weirdest questions that have nothing to do with the topic. Scientists don't say anything about God. Things like dark matter or the big bang are not really theories about God existing or not. There is no evidence to even bring up the question of God's existence. The problem may be accepting the hard science behind some of these theories shows your beliefs in a YEC incorrect. It doesn't really have anything to do with God/Gods/Goddesses existing or not.

Why is my question wierd? Think about it. These scientists (you are always speaking of) accept dark matter. They know it exists because they note how such interacts with the universe, and yet they cannot fathom God who interacts with the universe and holds it all together with His will. Yet they make up the term "dark matter"for this something they cannot see, smell, measure, taste, or understand.

This would be incorrect. They would not even know to make up the term without some kind of evidence. Now there is no evidence regarding God here, so they have no reason to bring up God since it would not help them to understand what they are seeing. The same can be said for Santa Clause, so why don't you invoke his name?

Obviously, you've never been to Philadelphia Biblical University, Bob Jones University, and Liberty Baptist University. And the point is not that God is not sometimes mentioned, but that there are education institutions that NEVER mention God, unless as a byword on the lips of a disgruntled student or faculty member...
