Numbers 4:1-49 The Lord tells Moses and Aaron to take a census of the sons of Kohath among the children of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ house --- thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who do the work in the tabernacle. This is the service of the sons of Kohath. When the camp prepares to journey, Aaron and his sons shall come, and they shall take down the covering veil and cover the ark of the Testimony with it. They shall put on it a covering of badger skins, and spread over that a cloth entirely of blue; and they shall insert its poles. On the table of showbread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the pans, the bowls, and the pitchers for pouring; and the showbread shall be on it. They shall spread over them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of badger skins; and they shall insert its poles. They shall take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the light, with its lamps, its wick-trimmers, its trays, and all its oil vessels, with which they service it. They shall put it with all its utensils in a covering of badger skins, and put it on a carrying beam. Over the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of badger skins; and they shall insert its poles. They shall take all the utensils of service with which they minister in the sanctuary, put them in a blue cloth, cover them with a covering of badger skins, and put them on a carrying beam. They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth over it. They shall put on it all its implements with which they minister there—the firepans, the forks, the shovels, the basins, and all the utensils of the altar—and they shall spread on it a covering of badger skins, and insert its poles. When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, then the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them; but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die.
The appointed duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the daily grain offering, the anointing oil, the oversight of all the tabernacle, of all that is in it, with the sanctuary and its furnishings. Do not cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites; but do this in regard to them, that they may live and not die when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint each of them to his service and his task. They shall not go in to watch while the holy things are being covered, or they die.
Take a census of the sons of Gershon. From thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, number them, to do the work in the tabernacle of meeting. They shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the tabernacle of meeting with its covering, the covering of badger skins that is on it, the screen for the door of the tabernacle of meeting, the screen for the door of the gate of the court, the hangings of the court which are around the tabernacle and altar, and their cords, all the furnishings for their service. Aaron and his sons shall assign all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, all their tasks and all their service. And shall appoint them all their tasks as their duty. This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of meeting. And their duties shall be under the authority of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
As for the sons of Merari, number them by their families and by their fathers’ house. From thirty years old and above, everyone who enters to do the work of the tabernacle. They must carry the boards of the tabernacle, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, and the pillars around the court with their sockets, pegs, and cords, with all their furnishings and all their service; each man by name the items he must carry. This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, under the authority of Ithamar the son of Aaron.
Of the Kohathites thirty years old and above to fifty years old, who entered the service in the tabernacle of meeting were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
Numbered of the sons of Gershon, thirty years old and above to fifty years old, for work in the tabernacle of meeting were two thousand six hundred and thirty.
Those of the families of the sons of Merari who were numbered, from thirty years old to fifty years old, everyone who entered the service in the tabernacle of meeting— were three thousand two hundred.
All those numbered were eight thousand five hundred and eighty.

2 `Take up the sum of the sons of Kohath from the midst of the sons of Levi, by their families, by the house of their fathers;

4 `This [is] the service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting, the holy of holies:

15 `And Aaron hath finished -- his sons also -- covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, in the journeying of the camp, and afterwards do the sons of Kohath come in to bear [it], and they do not come unto the holy thing, that they have died; these [things are] the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
2 `Command the sons of Israel, and they send out of the camp every leper, and every one with an issue, and every one defiled by a body;
3 from male unto female ye do send out; unto the outside of the camp ye do send them; and they defile not their camps in the midst of which I do tabernacle.'
4 And the sons of Israel do so, and they send them out unto the outside of the camp; as Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses so have the sons of Israel done.
5 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
6 `Speak unto the sons of Israel, Man or woman, when they do any of the sins of man, by committing a trespass against Jehovah, and that person [is] guilty,
7 and they have confessed their sin which they have done, then he hath restored his guilt in its principal, and its fifth is adding to it, and hath given [it] to him in reference to whom he hath been guilty.
8 `And if the man have no redeemer to restore the guilt to, the guilt which is restored [is] Jehovah's, the priest's, apart from the ram of the atonements, whereby he maketh atonement for him.
9 `And every heave-offering of all the holy things of the sons of Israel, which they bring near to the priest, becometh his;
10 and any man's hallowed things become his; that which any man giveth to the priest becometh his.'
11 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
12 `Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When any man's wife turneth aside, and hath committed against him a trespass,
13 and a man hath lain with her [with] the seed of copulation, and it hath been hid from the eyes of her husband, and concealed, and she hath been defiled, and there is no witness against her, and she hath not been caught,
14 and a spirit of jealousy hath passed over him, and he hath been jealous of his wife, and she hath been defiled; -- or, a spirit of jealousy hath passed over him, and he hath been jealous of his wife, and she hath not been defiled --
15 `Then hath the man brought in his wife unto the priest, and he hath brought in her offering for her, a tenth of the ephah of barley meal, he doth not pour on it oil, nor doth he put on it frankincense, for it [is] a present of jealousy, a present of memorial, causing remembrance of iniquity.
16 `And the priest hath brought her near, and hath caused her to stand before Jehovah,
17 and the priest hath taken holy water in an earthen vessel, and of the dust which is on the floor of the tabernacle doth the priest take, and hath put [it] into the water,
18 and the priest hath caused the woman to stand before Jehovah, and hath uncovered the woman's head, and hath given into her hands the present of the memorial, it [is] a present of jealousy, and in the hand of the priest are the bitter waters which cause the curse.
19 `And the priest hath caused her to swear, and hath said unto the woman, If no man hath lain with thee, and if thou hast not turned aside [to] uncleanness under thy husband, be free from these bitter waters which cause the curse;
20 and thou, if thou hast turned aside under thy husband, and if thou hast been defiled, and any man doth give his copulation to thee besides thy husband --
21 (then the priest hath caused the woman to swear with an oath of execration, and the priest hath said to the woman) -- Jehovah doth give thee for an execration, and for a curse, in the midst of thy people, in Jehovah's giving thy thigh to fall, and thy belly to swell,
22 and these waters which cause the curse have gone into thy bowels, to cause the belly to swell, and the thigh to fall; and the woman hath said, Amen, Amen.
23 `And the priest hath written these execrations in a book, and hath blotted [them] out with the bitter waters,
24 and hath caused the woman to drink the bitter waters which cause the curse, and the waters which cause the curse have entered into her for bitter things.
25 `And the priest hath taken out of the hand of the woman the present of jealousy, and hath waved the present before Jehovah, and hath brought it near unto the altar;
26 and the priest hath taken a handful of the present, its memorial, and hath made perfume on the altar, and afterwards doth cause the woman to drink the water:
27 yea, he hath caused her to drink the water, and it hath come to pass, if she hath been defiled, and doth commit a trespass against her husband, that the waters which cause the curse have gone into her for bitter things, and her belly hath swelled, and her thigh hath fallen, and the woman hath become an execration in the midst of her people.
28 `And if the woman hath not been defiled, and is clean, then she hath been acquitted, and hath been sown [with] seed.
29 `This [is] the law of jealousies, when a wife turneth aside under her husband, and hath been defiled,
30 or when a spirit of jealousy passeth over a man, and he hath been jealous of his wife, then he hath caused the woman to stand before Jehovah, and the priest hath done to her all this law,
31 and the man hath been acquitted from iniquity, and that woman doth bear her iniquity.'

There are four Vedas, the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda. The Vedas are the primary texts of Hinduism. They also had a vast influence on Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. My take on Numbers Chapter 5
The Lord tells Moses to have the Israelites remove anyone having a skin disease or a discharge, or who has become ceremonially unclean by touching a dead person. This applies to both men and women alike --- so as not to defile the camp where God lives among them. If any of the people—men or women—betray the Lord by doing wrong to another person, they are guilty. They must confess their sin and make full restitution for what they have done, adding an additional 20 percent and returning it to the person who was wronged. But if the person who was wronged is dead, and there are no near relatives to whom restitution can be made, the payment belongs to the Lord and must be given to the priest. Those who are guilty must also bring a ram as a sacrifice, and they will be purified and made right with God. All the sacred offerings that the Israelites bring to a priest will belong to him and he may keep all the sacred donations that he receives. If a man’s wife is unfaithful to her husband having sex with another man, but neither her husband nor anyone else knows about it. She has defiled herself, even though there was no witness and she was not caught in the act. If her husband becomes jealous and suspicious of his wife and needs to know whether or not she has defiled herself, the husband must bring his wife to the priest. He must also bring an offering of two quarts of barley flour to be presented on her behalf. Do not mix it with olive oil or frankincense, for it is a jealousy offering—an offering to prove whether or not she is guilty.The priest will then present her to stand trial before the Lord. He must take some holy water in a clay jar and pour into it dust he has taken from the Tabernacle floor. When the priest has presented the woman before the Lord, he must unbind her hair and place in her hands the offering of proof—the jealousy offering to determine whether her husband’s suspicions are justified. The priest will stand before her, holding the jar of bitter water that brings a curse to those who are guilty. The priest will then put the woman under oath and say to her, ‘If no other man has had sex with you, and you have not gone astray and defiled yourself while under your husband’s authority, may you be immune from the effects of this bitter water that brings on the curse. But if you have gone astray by being unfaithful to your husband, and have defiled yourself by having sex with another man— At this point the priest must put the woman under oath. Now may this water that bring the curse enter your body and cause your abdomen to swell and your womb to shrivel.' And the woman will be required to agree. And the priest will write these curses on a piece of leather and wash them off into the bitter water. The woman will drink the bitter water that brings on the curse. When the water enters her body, it will cause bitter suffering if she is guilty and her name will become a curse among her people. The meaning of Leviticus Chapter 6
If a person is not faithful and sins against the Lord by lying to his neighbor about money given to him for safe-keeping, or by stealing, or by false ways, or by finding what was lost and lying about it before God, if a man does any of the things that men sin in doing, he will become guilty. He should return what he took, or gained falsely. He should pay for it in full, and add to it one-fifth part more. He should give it to whom it belongs on the day he gives his guilt gift to the priest. He will bring to the religious leader his guilt gift to the Lord, a ram that is perfect from the flock, that you decide to be the right price for a guilt gift. Before the Lord the religious leader will pay the price for him for whatever he did that made him guilty. And he will be forgiven.
The burnt gift should stay on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire should be kept burning on the altar. Then the religious leader will put on the clothing next to his flesh, and the long linen clothing over that. And he will take the ashes that are left from the fire of the burnt gift on the altar, and put them beside the altar. Then he will change his clothes and carry the ashes to a clean place away from the tents. The fire should be kept burning on the altar. It should not go out. The religious leader should burn wood on it every morning. He will lay the burnt gifts on it, and burn the fat parts of the peace gifts on it.
The sons of Aaron will give it to the Lord in front of the altar. One of them will fill his hand with the fine flour of the grain gift, with its oil and all the special perfume that is on it, and burn it on the altar to be remembered as a pleasing smell to the Lord. Aaron and his sons are to eat what is left of it. It will be baked without yeast and eaten in a holy place. They will eat it in the open space of the meeting tent. Every male among the sons of Aaron may eat it. It is a Law forever for all your people, from the gifts by fire to the Lord. Whoever touches them will become holy.
The gift which Aaron and his sons are to give to the Lord on the day when he is set apart: The tenth part of a basket of fine flour for a grain gift each day, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening --- should be cooked with oil on top of a stove. Bring it when it is mixed well, and give the grain gift in baked pieces as a pleasing smell to the Lord. The religious leader among Aaron’s sons, who is chosen to be in his place, will give it. By a Law forever, all of it will be burned and given to the Lord. Every grain gift of the religious leader will be all burned. It will not be eaten.
The sin gift will be killed before the Lord in the place where the burnt gift is killed. It is most holy. The religious leader who gives it for sin will eat it. It will be eaten in a holy place, in the open space of the meeting tent. Anyone who touches its flesh will become holy. OK. I usually save some room in my mind for the existence of a God, but if you want to put it that way, I'll leave it rather than take it. There needs to be some proof or there is no reason to believe it.
The Bible (any version you would like to quote) is a collection of stories from a few thousand years ago. There has to be something other than "I said so" to make the postulation worth considering. Even the Bible doesn't claim itself to be the true word of God.

I wear a watch on my hand and it has never occurred to me to think that I need proof that there was at one time a watchmaker. I look around and see houses, buildings, restaurants, etc. and it has never occurred to me to think they always existed. Please take that thought any direction you want it to take it...
The problem is not that God doesn't exist or may not exist, the problem is that He has not revealed Himself to you because you are trying to think God instead of worship God.
Through reason and logic you will never, ever, ever know the Lord because these are like a vicious circle that goes around and around without ever moving outside of it.
If you want to know if God exists, wait until calamity strikes you. God down to your knees and in sincere contrition repent first of your unbelief, then ask the Lord to help you see...
