So your saying that your imaginary God can beat up our imaginary God.
by the way, on a serious note, the thought that a God, such as you imagine, would concern himself with the goings on of some obscure recently evolved beings, who live on a small speck of dirt in a far of corner of an ordinary galaxy, which is one of billions of such galaxies in the universe, lessens the view of God. Why is it that some religious people are always able to see the hubris in others but not in themselves?
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."
Mormonism teaches that a third of the host of heaven went with Satan, with the remaining two thirds choosing the "come to earth" plan. I posit that means Mormons believe the number is finite as you can't divide an infinite number into thirds.
not true...if one considers a continuous, and infinite line of people...where they diverge in a sequence of one and two...one person steps to the left...2 persons step to the right...
wait, never mind...i just realized you don't know what the host of heaven is.
Okay, how did Satan manage to lead a third of an infinite number away after a war in heaven? There was a war in heaven that had a finite outcome. Two thirds won and chose to come to earth, one third chose not to and went with Satan. Hard to know who's on which sound when one cannot count heads....
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

Who procreated to produce Jesus?

If the number of the host of heaven is infinite, what is the point of doing temple work for the dead?

the number is irrelevant. work for the dead is for the individual.

Indeed , why bother with anything relating to the finite at all.
With god being infinite , why is there a finite test of our souls , with finite judgement , that damns or saves us infinitely.
this is not Mormon doctrine so i am not sure why you are espousing such profundities.

this seems like babbling...Mormons do not consider themselves as finite beings, just the time on earth. Nor is the test finite....nor is it eternal http://www.LDS.org/search?q=damnation&d ... s&lang=eng you seem to be talking about another church.

CFR that that's how it happened.
