The President (Joanna), is the top honcho? Oversees, directs and supervises staff. JD and Rosebud are on the board. As Executive Director, JD answers to the board.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 8:54 pmIs Director equal to Executive Director? The Stig wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 8:46 pm
She is listed as a Director on the 2011 Form-990 (the first available year), pg. 12/13.

I believe the President oversees and leads the Board, as a body. The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the entity. The Executive Director answers to the Board.pistolero wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 9:11 pmSo I'm reading this page: https://study.com/articles/executive_di ... rofit.htmlDoctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 9:08 pm

Which is confusing, because Exec Director and President seem to have some overlap with staff.
Yes, but this seems confusing as to who supervises staff ultimately, unless I don't understand the different between staff and a staff member? Which I don't.The Stig wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 9:12 pmI believe the President oversees and leads the Board, as a body. The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the entity. Yeah, that is confusing. In my experience, the President of the Board has very little interaction with the day-to-day operations and staff, but I have a limited sample size.pistolero wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 9:14 pmYes, but this seems confusing as to who supervises staff ultimately, unless I don't understand the different between staff and a staff member? Executive Director in a Nonprofit:President in a Nonprofit:
- Direct and supervise staff members
Also, it seems clear that John Dehlin should have been paying Joanna a whole lot more cash than he was.
- Directs and monitors staff
That conclusion strikes me as a wee bit hasty.jpatterson wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 8:54 pmAnd we can extrapolate from this that John has not been fully truthful when he has repeatedly called these allegations "baseless."Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 8:50 pmBUT, at the end of the day there was a definite power differential, there was a quid pro quo arrangement, and John Dehlin got rid of her not for job-performance issues, but because she broke their quid pro quo arrangement. That’s on him.
If you want to get snippy and technical, be my guest. I misspoke when I said "tax" documents, I meant public documents.
This is like arguing with Bill Clinton over the definition of "is" or Dan Peterson over the definition of a horse or steel.consiglieri wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 9:31 pm

What allegations specifically did John Dehlin call baseless and where?
Show us your work.
You are too quick to pull the gallows trap door lever.
