Well, I'm sorry --- but there was never a time in your life that you asked God, "Why me?" Or do you simply realize you deserve everything that happens to you, and Job was so much a better person than you are? Now remember that everything that happened to Job was what Satan wanted to do to Job. God set the parameter (do not take his life). But it is Satan, the guy all atheists seem to love and cannot wait to go to be with, that despises and abuses poor Job.

God is composing a book and wants to teach us something. In fact Job is considered a TYPE of "Christ" a representation of Him. What is happening to Job is what will happen to Jesus in a much worse way. Go back and reread the book in that light and perhaps you will understand...

Read the entire chapter. "The older was named Oholah, and her sister was Oholibah. They were mine and gave birth to sons and daughters. Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem." God sees Jerusalem behaving as a whore.

The reality is that a parent would not read this to a young child. But the fact remains that many people behave and lust exactly as in this tale of Oholah and Oholibah but hypocritically do not feel that the Bible should expose their perversion for what it is.
