Psalm 62:1-12
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
My soul really only finds rest in God; my salvation comes from Him.
Actually, He is my rock, salvation and sanctuary. I will not change this opinion.
How long will you all attack me? Would all of you throw me down—this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
Surely they intend to depose me, from my pedestal; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their soul they curse.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and honor depend on God --- my mighty rock, my sanctuary.
Folks, trust Him always; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our sanctuary.
Surely peasants are but a breath, the highborn just a lie. If weighed on a balance, they are unimportant, and together they are only a short moment.
Do not trust extortion or place hope in what is stolen; though you get wealthier, do not set your heart such.
One thing God has said, two things I have heard: Might is entirely God's. And with you, Lord, is unending love. You reward everyone according to what they do.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
To the Overseer, for Jeduthun. -- A Psalm of David.
1 Only -- toward God [is] my soul silent, From Him [is] my salvation.
2 Only -- He [is] my rock, and my salvation, My tower, I am not much moved.
3 Till when do ye devise mischief against a man? Ye are destroyed all of you, As a wall inclined, a hedge that is cast down.
4 Only -- from his excellency They have consulted to drive away, They enjoy a lie, with their mouth they bless, And with their heart revile. Selah.
5 Only -- for God, be silent, O my soul, For from Him [is] my hope.
6 Only -- He [is] my rock and my salvation, My tower, I am not moved.
7 On God [is] my salvation, and my honour, The rock of my strength, my refuge [is] in God.
8 Trust in Him at all times, O people, Pour forth before Him your heart, God [is] a refuge for us. Selah.
9 Only -- vanity [are] the low, a lie the high. In balances to go up they than vanity [are] lighter.
10 Trust not in oppression, And in robbery become not vain, Wealth -- when it increaseth -- set not the heart.
11 Once hath God spoken, twice I heard this, That `strength [is] with God.'
12 And with Thee, O Lord, [is] kindness, For Thou dost recompense to each, According to his work!

Psalm 63:1-11 A Psalm of David, when he was in the Wilderness of Judah.
You are my God; first thing I will look for You, my soul needs and my body faints for You, in a waste land with no water.
I have seen You in the sanctuary, seeing Your power and glory.
Your lovingkindness is better than living, I will praise You.
I bless You while I'm alive; I will raise up my hands in Your name.
My soul will be fulfilled as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth will praise You with joyful lips.
When I think of You on my bed, and meditate about You when I'm up late, because You have assisted me, therefore under Your wings I will rejoice.
My soul latches strongly onto You; Your right hand supports me.
But those who seek my soul to destroy it will go into the lower parts of the earth.
They will fall by the sword; they will be food for scavengers.
The king rejoices in God; everyone who says God is good, our help, the good Lord willing, etc., in Him will find glory, because the mouth of liars will be quieted.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 A Psalm of David, in his being in the wilderness of Judah. O God, Thou [art] my God, earnestly do I seek Thee, Thirsted for Thee hath my soul, Longed for Thee hath my flesh, In a land dry and weary, without waters.
2 So in the sanctuary I have seen Thee, To behold Thy strength and Thine honour.
3 Because better [is] Thy kindness than life, My lips do praise Thee.
4 So I bless Thee in my life, in Thy name I lift up my hands.
5 As [with] milk and fatness is my soul satisfied, And [with] singing lips doth my mouth praise.
6 If I have remembered Thee on my couch, In the watches -- I meditate on Thee.
7 For Thou hast been a help to me, And in the shadow of Thy wings I sing.
8 Cleaved hath my soul after Thee, On me hath Thy right hand taken hold.
9 And they who for desolation seek my soul, Go in to the lower parts of the earth.
10 They cause him to run on the edge of the sword, A portion for foxes they are.
11 And the king doth rejoice in God, Boast himself doth every one swearing by Him, But stopped is the mouth of those speaking lies!

Psalm 64:1-10 For the music director. A song of David.
Listen to me, O God, as I cry. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Protect me from the secret plots of evildoers, from the unrest of those who work at being dishonest, who sharpen their speech like a sword.
They bend their bow to shoot their arrows—bitter words, to shoot from their hiding places at the blameless. Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
They encourage themselves in an evil matter. They talk of secretly laying traps. They say, “Who will see them?”
They skillfully plot injustices saying, “We have perfected the perfect plot!” Both inner thoughts and the heart of a man have depth.
But God will run them through; like a shot they will suddenly be pierced.
And those that would cause him to stumble, their own words will expose them. All who view them will shake.
And finally all men will do reverence, and will declare the working of God, and will understand what He is doing.
The righteous will be happy in Yahweh and seek sanctuary with him, and all the straight of heart will boast.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. Hear, O God, my voice, in my meditation, From the fear of an enemy Thou keepest my life,
2 Hidest me from the secret counsel of evil doers, From the tumult of workers of iniquity.
3 Who sharpened as a sword their tongue, They directed their arrow -- a bitter word.
4 To shoot in secret places the perfect, Suddenly they shoot him, and fear not.
5 They strengthen for themselves an evil thing, They recount of the hiding of snares, They have said, `Who doth look at it?'
6 They search out perverse things, `We perfected a searching search,' And the inward part of man, and the heart [are] deep.
7 And God doth shoot them [with] an arrow, Sudden have been their wounds,
8 And they cause him to stumble, Against them [is] their own tongue, Every looker on them fleeth away.
9 And all men fear, and declare the work of God, And His deed they have considered wisely.
10 The righteous doth rejoice in Jehovah, And hath trusted in Him, And boast themselves do all the upright of heart!

Psalm 65:1-13 For the Music Director. A Song of David.
Praise is coming to You, God, in Zion; and a vow will be fulfilled to you.
You who hears prayer, all mortals will come.
Sinfulness is stronger than I am. Our transgressions, You atone for them.
Blessed is the man You select and allow to come close; he will dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, even of Your holy temple.
In righteousness You will answer us gloriously, God of our salvation, You, who are the confidence everywhere across land and sea.
You appointed the mountains by His strength, being clothed with might; stilling the noise of the seas waves, and the tumult of peoples.
Those who dwell in distant places are awed because of Your signs; You make anytime of day rejoice.
You visit the earth, water and enrich it with the river of God, being full of water; You prepare their grain, for thus You have established it.
You water its furrows abundantly, settle its ridges, soften it with showers and bless its sprouting.
You finish a year with Your goodness, and Your ways drip abundance.
Drip upon the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills clothe themselves with rejoicing.
The pastures are covered with flocks; the valleys with grain; they proclaim joy and sing.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. A Song. To Thee, silence -- praise, O God, [is] in Zion, And to Thee is a vow completed.
2 Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.
3 Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions -- Thou dost cover them.
4 O the happiness of [him whom] Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.
5 By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.
6 Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,
7 Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.
8 And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts From Thy signs are afraid, The outgoings of morning and evening Thou causest to sing.
9 Thou hast inspected the earth, and waterest it, Thou makest it very rich, the rivulet of God [is] full of water, Thou preparest their corn, When thus Thou dost prepare it,
10 Its ridges have been filled, Deepened hath been its furrow, With showers Thou dost soften it, Its springing up Thou blessest.
11 Thou hast crowned the year of Thy goodness, And Thy paths drop fatness.
12 Drop do the pastures of a wilderness, And joy of the heights Thou girdest on.
13 Clothed have lambs the flock, And valleys are covered with corn, They shout -- yea, they sing!

Psalm 66:1-20 For the Music Director. A Song.
Shout joyfully to God, everyone everywhere
Honor His name; make His praise glorious.
Express to God, that His abilities are awesome! Through spectacular feats Your enemies cower before You.
Everyone will worship You and will sing to You; they will sing to Your name. (Think on that)
Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in what He accomplishes for humanity.
He turned a sea to dry land; they crossed the river on foot; there we rejoiced in Him.
He rules by His abilities forever; His observes the nations; the rebellious do not exalt themselves. (think on that)
Oh, bless our God, people, and make His praises loud --- to whom keeps our soul alive, and does not allow our feet to slip.
For You, God, have tested us; You have refined us, like silver.
You brought us into a trap; You heaped distress on our backs.
You permitted people to ride above us; we went through fire and water; but You brought us out into a well-watered place.
I will go into Your temple with burnt offerings; I will fulfill my vows to You, which I have promised, and my mouth spoke when I was distressed.
I will offer You burnt sacrifices of fat animals, with the incense of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. (Think on that)
Come listen, all you who respect God, and I will tell you what He has done for my soul.
I cried to Him with my mouth, and He was praised with what I said.
If I ponder doing evil in my heart, the Lord will not listen; but certainly God has heard me; He has reacted to the sound of my prayer.
Blessed is God, who has not ignored my prayer, nor kept His mercy from me.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 To the Overseer. -- A Song, a Psalm. Shout ye to God, all the earth.
2 Praise ye the honour of His name, Make ye honourable His praise.
3 Say to God, `How fearful [are] Thy works, By the abundance of Thy strength, Thine enemies feign obedience to Thee.
4 All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.' Selah.
5 Come ye, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.
6 He hath turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There do we rejoice in Him.
7 Ruling by His might to the age, His eyes among the nations do watch, The refractory exalt not themselves. Selah.
8 Bless, ye peoples, our God, And sound the voice of His praise,
9 Who hath placed our soul in life, And suffered not our feet to be moved.
10 For Thou hast tried us, O God, Thou hast refined us as the refining of silver.
11 Thou hast brought us into a net, Thou hast placed pressure on our loins.
12 Thou hast caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And Thou bringest us out to a watered place.
13 I enter Thy house with burnt-offerings, I complete to Thee my vows,
14 For opened were my lips, And my mouth spake in my distress:
15 `Burnt-offerings of fatlings I offer to Thee, With perfume of rams, I prepare a bullock with he-goats.' Selah.
16 Come, hear, all ye who fear God, And I recount what he did for my soul.
17 Unto Him [with] my mouth I have called, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.
18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord doth not hear.
19 But God hath heard, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed [is] God, Who hath not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!

Psalm 67:1-7 For the Orchestra Conductor --- with stringed instruments. A song.
God is gracious and blesses us and makes his face shine upon us. (Ponder that)
This is so that your ways may be known throughout earth, and your salvation among all nations.
May the various nationalities praise you, God. Everywhere!
May the nations be happy and sing with joy, for you rule the nations equally and guide them.
May the peoples praise you, God. Repeatedly
The land yields a harvest; God who is our God, blesses.
God continues blessing us, and sol everyone everywhere of earth respect Him.

Re: Bible verse by verse
Psalm 68:1-35 For the Music Director. A song of David.
May God be motivated, His enemies be scattered and foes flee ahead of him.
May you blow them away like smoke—as wax melts before fire, may the wicked perish before God.
But may the righteous be happy and joyous before God.
Sing to God, praising his name, exult Him who rides clouds; rejoice before Him— namely the Lord.
A Father to orphans, a defender of widows, is God in His holy place.
God provides the lonely with families, He leads out prisoners with singing; but the rebellious must sweat it out.
When you, God, went before your people, and marched through the wilderness, (Think on that)
The earth shook, the heavens descended, before God at Sinai --- God of Israel.
You gave abundantly, O God; a weary inheritance You rekindled.
Your people settled in, and from your bounty, God, you provided for the poor.
The Lord announces the word, and the women proclaiming it are a mighty throng:
Kings and armies flee hastily; yet a woman at the home front divides the plunder.
Even when sleeping among sheep pens, my love is beautiful to behold ---- as a dove.
When the Almighty scattered the kings in the land, it was like snow fallen on Mount Salmon.
Mount Bashan, majestic & rugged mountain, why are you envious, you rugged hills, at the place where God chooses to reign, where the Lord himself will dwell forever?
The chariots of God are 10,000 plus thousands of thousands; the Lord has arrived from Sinai into his sanctuary.
When you ascended up, you took many captives; you received gifts from people ---- even from the rebellious— that you, Lord God, might dwell there.
Praise the Lord, our Savior, who always bears our burdens.
Our God saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.
God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who persist in sinning.
The Lord says, “I will bring them from Bashan; I will bring them from the depths of the sea, that your feet may wade in the blood of your foes, while the tongues of your dogs have their share.”
Your procession, God, has come into view, of my God and King into the sanctuary. In front are the singers, then musicians; among them are young women playing tambourines.
Praise God in the great congregation; praise the Lord in the assembly of Israel.
There is the little tribe of Benjamin, in front, there is the great gathering of Judah’s princes, and the princes of Zebulun and of Naphtali.
Summon your power, God; show us your abilities, God, as in the past.
Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring you gifts.
Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war.
Ambassadors will come from Egypt; Cush will submit to God.
Sing to God, you kingdoms of earth, praise God (Pause at that)
Him who rides across the farthest heavens, the ancient heavens, who echoes with a thunderous voice.
Proclaim the power of God, majesty is over Israel, whose power is displayed across the heavens.
You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel provides power and strength to his people.
Praise be to God!
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm, a song of David. Rise doth God -- scattered are His enemies! And those hating Him flee from His face.
2 As the driving away of smoke Thou drivest away, As the melting of wax before fire, The wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 And the righteous rejoice, they exult before God, And they joy with gladness.
4 Sing ye to God -- praise His name, Raise up a highway for Him who is riding in deserts, In Jah [is] His name, and exult before Him.
5 Father of the fatherless, and judge of the widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation.
6 God -- causing the lonely to dwell at home, Bringing out bound ones into prosperity, Only -- the refractory have inhabited a dry place.
7 O God, in Thy going forth before Thy people, In Thy stepping through the wilderness, Selah.
8 The earth hath shaken, Yea, the heavens have dropped before God, This Sinai -- before God, the God of Israel.
9 A shower of free-will gifts thou shakest out, O God. Thine inheritance, when it hath been weary, Thou hast established it.
10 Thy company have dwelt in it, Thou preparest in Thy goodness for the poor, O God.
11 The Lord doth give the saying, The female proclaimers [are] a numerous host.
12 Kings of hosts flee utterly away, And a female inhabitant of the house apportioneth spoil.
13 Though ye do lie between two boundaries, Wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
14 When the Mighty spreadeth kings in it, It doth snow in Salmon.
15 A hill of God [is] the hill of Bashan, A hill of heights [is] the hill of Bashan.
16 Why do ye envy, O high hills, The hill God hath desired for His seat? Jehovah also doth tabernacle for ever.
17 The chariots of God [are] myriads, thousands of changes, The Lord [is] among them, in Sinai, in the sanctuary.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast taken captive captivity, Thou hast taken gifts for men, That even the refractory may rest, O Jah God.
19 Blessed [is] the Lord, day by day He layeth on us. God Himself [is] our salvation. Selah.
20 God Himself [is] to us a God for deliverances, And Jehovah Lord hath the outgoings of death.
21 Only -- God doth smite The head of His enemies, The hairy crown of a habitual walker in his guilt.
22 The Lord said: `From Bashan I bring back, I bring back from the depths of the sea.
23 So that thou dashest thy foot in blood, [In the blood of] enemies -- the tongue of Thy dogs.'
24 They have seen Thy goings, O God, Goings of my God, my king, in the sanctuary.
25 Singers have been before, Behind [are] players on instruments, In the midst virgins playing with timbrels.
26 In assemblies bless ye God, The Lord -- from the fountain of Israel.
27 There [is] little Benjamin their ruler, Heads of Judah their defence, Heads of Zebulun -- heads of Naphtali.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength, Be strong, O God, this Thou hast wrought for us.
29 Because of Thy temple at Jerusalem, To Thee do kings bring a present.
30 Rebuke a beast of the reeds, a company of bulls, With calves of the peoples, Each humbling himself with pieces of silver, Scatter Thou peoples delighting in conflicts.
31 Come do fat ones out of Egypt, Cush causeth her hands to run to God.
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing ye to God, Praise ye the Lord. Selah.
33 To him who is riding on the heavens of the heavens of old, Lo, He giveth with His voice a strong voice.
34 Ascribe ye strength to God, Over Israel [is] His excellency, and His strength in the clouds.
35 Fearful, O God, out of Thy sanctuaries, The God of Israel Himself, Giving strength and might to the people. Blessed [is] God!

Psalm 69:1-36 To the choirmaster: Among the Lilies. Song of David.
Save me, God! The waters are up to my neck.
I sinking deep in muck, where there is no foothold; coming into deep waters, the flow sweeps over me.
I weary with my crying out; my throat is sore. My eyes grow blurry with waiting for God.
More in number than the hairs on my head are those who despise me with no cause; strong are those who would destroy me, attacking me with lies. What I did not steal must I now replace?
God, you know my stupidity; the mistakes I have made are not hidden from You.
Let not those who trust you be shamed because of me, Lord God of hosts; let not those who seek You be dishonored by me, God of Israel.
For it is for you that I have taken abuse ---- dishonor coveres my face.
I have become a stranger to my brothers, a foreigner to my mother's sons.
Devotion for your house consumes me, and reproaches of those who disapprove of You have fallen upon me.
I wept and humbled my soul in fasting, it became my reproach.
When I assumed sackcloth as my clothing, I became a curse word to them.
I am the topic of those who sit in the gate, and the drunkards make songs about me.
But for me, my prayer is to you, Lord. At an acceptable time, God, in the abundance of your permanent love answer me according to your saving faithfulness.
Deliver me from the quicksand; deliver me from my enemies and from deep waters.
Let not this overtake me, or the deep swallow me up, or the pit swallow me.
Answer me, Lord, for your steadfast love is good; according to your abundant mercy, turn to me.
Hide not your face from your servant; for I am in distress; hurry and answer me.
Draw near to my soul, redeem me; ransom me because of my enemies!
You know my reproach, shame and dishonor; my foes are all known to you.
Reproaches have broken my heart, so that I despair. I sought pity, but there was none, neither were there comforters.
They gave Me poison for food, and for My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink.
Let their own table setting become a net; and when they are at peace, may it be really a trap.
May they get cataracts, so that they cannot see ---- make their loins rumble continually.
Dump your indignation upon them, and let your hot anger overtake them.
May their camp be a waste; let their tents be emptied.
They chase him whom you have struck down, and they recount the pain of those you have wounded.
Add to them punishment upon punishment; may they never be acquitted by You.
Let them be erased from the book of Life; let them not be listed among the righteous.
However, I am bothered and in pain; let your salvation, God, perk me up!
I will praise the name of God with a melody; I will spotlight Him with many thanks.
Such will please the Lord more than an ox or a bull with horns and hoofs.
When the humble see this they will be happy; you who seek God, let your hearts perk up.
For the Lord hears the needy and does not hate His own people who are prisoners.
Let heaven and earth praise him, including the seas and everything that moves in them.
God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, and people shall live there and claim it;
The decedents of his servants shall inherit it, and those who love His name shall dwell in it.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 To the Overseer. -- `On the Lilies,' by David. Save me, O God, for come have waters unto the soul.
2 I have sunk in deep mire, And there is no standing, I have come into the depths of the waters, And a flood hath overflown me.
3 I have been wearied with my calling, Burnt hath been my throat, Consumed have been mine eyes, waiting for my God.
4 Those hating me without cause Have been more than the hairs of my head, Mighty have been my destroyers, My lying enemies, That which I took not away -- I bring back.
5 O God, Thou -- Thou hast known Concerning my overturn, And my desolations from Thee have not been hid.
6 Let not those waiting on Thee be ashamed because of me, O Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, Let not those seeking Thee Blush because of me, O God of Israel.
7 For because of Thee I have borne reproach, Shame hath covered my face.
8 A stranger I have been to my brother, And a foreigner to sons of my mother.
9 For zeal for Thy house hath consumed me, And the reproaches of Thy reproachers Have fallen upon me.
10 And I weep in the fasting of my soul, And it is for a reproach to me.
11 And I make my clothing sackcloth, And I am to them for a simile.
12 Those sitting at the gate meditate concerning me, And those drinking strong drink, Play on instruments.
13 And I -- my prayer [is] to Thee, O Jehovah, A time of good pleasure, O God, In the abundance of Thy kindness, Answer me in the truth of Thy salvation.
14 Deliver me from the mire, and let me not sink, Let me be delivered from those hating me, And from deep places of waters.
15 Let not a flood of waters overflow me, Nor let the deep swallow me up, Nor let the pit shut her mouth upon me.
16 Answer me, O Jehovah, for good [is] Thy kindness, According to the abundance Of Thy mercies turn Thou unto me,
17 And hide not Thy face from Thy servant, For I am in distress -- haste, answer me.
18 Be near unto my soul -- redeem it, Because of mine enemies ransom me.
19 Thou -- Thou hast known my reproach, And my shame, and my blushing, Before Thee [are] all mine adversaries.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am sick, And I look for a bemoaner, and there is none, And for comforters, and I have found none.
21 And they give for my food gall, And for my thirst cause me to drink vinegar.
22 Their table before them is for a snare, And for a recompence -- for a trap.
23 Darkened are their eyes from seeing, And their loins continually shake Thou.
24 Pour upon them Thine indignation, And the fierceness of Thine anger doth seize them.
25 Their tower is desolated, In their tents there is no dweller.
26 For they have pursued him Thou hast smitten, And recount of the pain of Thy pierced ones.
27 Give punishment for their iniquity, And they enter not into Thy righteousness.
28 They are blotted out of the book of life, And with the righteous are not written.
29 And I [am] afflicted and pained, Thy salvation, O God, doth set me on high.
30 I praise the name of God with a song, And I magnify Him with thanksgiving,
31 And it is better to Jehovah than an ox, A bullock -- horned -- hoofed.
32 The humble have seen -- they rejoice, Ye who seek God -- and your heart liveth.
33 For Jehovah hearkeneth unto the needy, And His bound ones He hath not despised.
34 The heavens and earth do praise Him, Seas, and every moving thing in them.
35 For God doth save Zion, And doth build the cities of Judah, And they have dwelt there, and possess it.
36 And the seed of His servants inherit it, And those loving His name dwell in it!

Psalm 70:1-5 For the Music Director. A petition of David.
Quickly, God, save me; come with speed, Lord, to help me.
May those who want to murder me be shamed and confused. May all who desire my ruin be turned back disgraced.
May those who say to me, “Aha!” stop in shame.
But may all who seek you be happy and glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, “The Lord is great!”
But, I'm poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; Lord hurry!
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 To the Overseer, by David. -- `To cause to remember.' O God, to deliver me, O Jehovah, for my help, haste.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded Who are seeking my soul, Let them be turned backward and blush Who are desiring my evil.
3 Let them turn back because of their shame, Who are saying, `Aha, aha.'
4 Let all those seeking Thee joy and be glad in Thee, And let those loving Thy salvation Say continually, `God is magnified.'
5 And I [am] poor and needy, O God, haste to me, My help and my deliverer [art] Thou, O Jehovah, tarry Thou not!
Quickly, God, save me; come with speed, Lord, to help me.

Re: Bible verse by verse
Psalm 71:1-24 In You, Lord, do I place trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be discredited or confusion!
Deliver me by Your righteousness and cause me to escape; listen close and save me!
Be to me a foundation on which to dwell, and a sheltering fort to which I may continually return, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.
Rescue me, God, from manipulation of the evil, unrighteous and ruthless man.
You are my hope; God, Who I trusted from my youth being the source of my confidence.
Upon You have I leaned --- relying from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from then on. My praise is continually of You.
I am as a wonder and a shock to many, but You are my fortress.
My mouth is filled with Your praise and Your honor daily.
Don't throw me out or send me away when I'm old; abandon me not when my strength fails and I'm run down.
My enemies chatter against me; those who spy on my life conspire together, saying, God has forsaken him; chase, persecute and imprison him, for no one cares.
God, be not far from me! God, hurry and assist me!
Let them be shamed and consumed who are adversaries to my life; let them be covered with reproach, scorn, and dishonor who seek and demand my injury.
I will hope continually, and will praise You increasingly.
My mouth shall speak of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation daily, for their number is too numerous to imagine.
I will come in the power and with the mighty ability of the God; I will mention and praise Your righteousness, even Yours alone.
God, You have trained me from my youth, and up to now have I declared Your awesome abilities.
Yes, even when I am old and gray, God, don't forsake me, may I live until I have declared Your mighty strength to the present generation, and Your might and power to all that are yet to come.
In addition Your righteousness, God, is high [reaching to the heavens], You Who have done great things; God. Is there another like you ---- even Your equal?
You Who have shown us troubles great and sore will quicken us again and will bring us up again from the pits of the earth.
Increase my honor --- come and comfort me.
I will praise You with a lyre and sing, regarding Your truth and faithfulness, God of Israel.
My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You, and my inner being, which You have redeemed.
My tongue in addition will express Your righteousness daily; for they are shamed and confounded, who seek and demand my torture.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 In Thee, O Jehovah, I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed to the age.
2 In Thy righteousness Thou dost deliver me, And dost cause me to escape, Incline unto me Thine ear, and save me.
3 Be to me for a rock -- a habitation, To go in continually, Thou hast given command to save me, For my rock and my bulwark [art] Thou.
4 O my God, cause me to escape From the hand of the wicked, From the hand of the perverse and violent.
5 For Thou [art] my hope, O Lord Jehovah, My trust from my youth.
6 By Thee I have been supported from the womb, From my mother's bowels Thou dost cut me out, In Thee [is] my praise continually.
7 As a wonder I have been to many, And Thou [art] my strong refuge.
8 Filled is my mouth [with] Thy praise, All the day [with] Thy beauty.
9 Cast me not off at the time of old age, According to the consumption of my power forsake me not.
10 For mine enemies have spoken against me, And those watching my soul have taken counsel together,
11 Saying, `God hath forsaken him, Pursue and catch him, for there is no deliverer.'
12 O God, be not far from me, O my God, for my help make haste.
13 They are ashamed, they are consumed, Who are opposing my soul, They are covered [with] reproach and blushing, Who are seeking my evil,
14 And I continually do wait with hope, And have added unto all Thy praise.
15 My mouth recounteth Thy righteousness, All the day Thy salvation, For I have not known the numbers.
16 I come in the might of the Lord Jehovah, I mention Thy righteousness -- Thine only.
17 God, Thou hast taught me from my youth, And hitherto I declare Thy wonders.
18 And also unto old age and grey hairs, O God, forsake me not, Till I declare Thy strength to a generation, To every one that cometh Thy might.
19 And Thy righteousness, O God, [is] unto the heights, Because Thou hast done great things, O God, who [is] like Thee?
20 Because Thou hast showed me many and sad distresses, Thou turnest back -- Thou revivest me, And from the depths of the earth, Thou turnest back -- Thou bringest me up.
21 Thou dost increase my greatness, And Thou surroundest -- Thou comfortest me,
22 I also thank Thee with a vessel of psaltery, Thy truth, O my God, I sing to Thee with a harp, O Holy One of Israel,
23 My lips cry aloud when I sing praise to Thee, And my soul that Thou hast redeemed,
24 My tongue also all the day uttereth Thy righteousness, Because ashamed -- because confounded, Have been those seeking my evil!
