1. The Book of Mormon teaches that little children are not capable of sin because they do not have a sinful nature (Moroni 8:8). In contrast, the Bible in Psalm 51:5 clearly teaches that we have sinful nature from birth: "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me". (This of course does not mean that those who die in infancy are lost.)
It is rarely a wise move to derive one's doctrine from the Hagiographa.
And I reject your contention that scripture may have no contradictions.
You just threw out your Bible with that test.
It is full of contradictions, my friend.
But you continue copying and pasting it just the same.

I find that it is far worse to accept an entire document presented from the hand of one individual. The Bible has thousands of years of provenance plus a multitude of documentable translations (ancient, historic, vintage, and modern). The Book of Mormon only about 2 hundred years of any relevance and actually none but Joseph Smith's say so for the works historic authenticity. Now, I would ask that you point out a contradiction in the Bible, and I would be very happy to explain with God's assistance why it is not.
Bless the Lord my immovable Rock. He gives me strength and skill to battle.
He is always kind and loving to me; he is my sanctuary and tall tower of strength and safety, my deliverer. He stands before me to shield. He subdues my people under me.
Dear Lord, what is man that you would consider him? Why bother with the humanity.
For man is but a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.
Angle down the heavens, Lord, and come. The mountains smoke at your touch.
Let fly your lightning bolts, your arrows, Lord, upon your enemies, and scatter them.
Reach down from heaven and save me; deliver me from the rising tide --- the power of my enemies.
Their mouths are filled with made up stories; they swear to the truth of what is false.
I will sing you a new song, Dear God, playing upon a ten-stringed harp.
For you grant victory to kings! You are the one who will rescue your servant David from the fatal sword.
Save me! Deliver me from these enemies, these liars, these treacherous men.
Here is my description of a real happy country where there is God:
Sons vigorous and tall as growing plants. Daughters of graceful beauty like a beautiful palace. Barns filled with crops of every kind. Sheep by the thousands out in our fields. Oxen loaded down with produce. No enemy attacking the walls, but peace everywhere. No crime in our streets. Yes, happy are those whose LORD is Jehovah.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 By David. Blessed [is] Jehovah my rock, who is teaching My hands for war, my fingers for battle.
2 My kind one, and my bulwark, My tower, and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I have trusted, Who is subduing my people under me!
3 Jehovah, what [is] man that Thou knowest him? Son of man, that Thou esteemest him?
4 Man to vanity hath been like, His days [are] as a shadow passing by.
5 Jehovah, incline Thy heavens and come down, Strike against mountains, and they smoke.
6 Send forth lightning, and scatter them, Send forth Thine arrows, and trouble them,
7 Send forth Thy hand from on high, Free me, and deliver me from many waters, From the hand of sons of a stranger,
8 Because their mouth hath spoken vanity, And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood.
9 O God, a new song I sing to Thee, On a psaltery of ten strings I sing praise to Thee.
10 Who is giving deliverance to kings, Who is freeing David His servant from the sword of evil.
11 Free me, and deliver me From the hand of sons of a stranger, Because their mouth hath spoken vanity, And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood,
12 Because our sons [are] as plants, Becoming great in their youth, Our daughters as hewn stones, Polished -- the likeness of a palace,
13 Our garners [are] full, bringing out from kind to kind, Our flocks are bringing forth thousands, Ten thousands in our out-places,
14 Our oxen are carrying, there is no breach, And there is no outgoing, And there is no crying in our broad places.
15 O the happiness of the people that is thus, O the happiness of the people whose God [is] Jehovah!
I exalt you, my God the King; I will praise you eternally.
Gladly I will praise you and shout Your name eternally.
Great is the Lord and totally worthy of praise; His greatness is impossible to imagine.
One generation commends Your deeds to another; they lists Your mighty acts.
They talk of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I contemplate Your mysterious abilities.
They speak of the power of Your fabulous deeds—and such greatness I recount.
They celebrate Your overflowing goodness and joyfully sing concerning your righteousness.
The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to be riled and filled with love.
The Lord performed a good for everyone. He has compassion for His creation.
All Your works express You, Lord; Your faithful extol You.
They speak of the glory of Your realm and abilities, so that all people have an opportunity to realize Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures from one generation to another.
The Lord Keeps His promises and faithful in all accomplishments
The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed.
The eyes of all look towards You, and You provide their nourishment at the appropriate moment.
You open Your hand and satisfy desires of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous and faithful in all He does.
The Lord is around all who call to Him ---- to all who call on Him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who regard Him. He hears their cry and saves them.
The Lord watches over all who love him, but all wickedness He will destroy.
My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise Him eternally.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Praise by David. I exalt Thee, my God, O king, And bless Thy name to the age and for ever.
2 Every day do I bless Thee, And praise Thy name to the age and for ever.
3 Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And of His greatness there is no searching.
4 Generation to generation praiseth Thy works, And Thy mighty acts they declare.
5 The honour -- the glory of Thy majesty, And the matters of Thy wonders I declare.
6 And the strength of Thy fearful acts they tell, And Thy greatness I recount.
7 The memorial of the abundance of Thy goodness they send forth. And Thy righteousness they sing.
8 Gracious and merciful [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and great in kindness.
9 Good [is] Jehovah to all, And His mercies [are] over all His works.
10 Confess Thee O Jehovah, do all Thy works, And Thy saints do bless Thee.
11 The honour of Thy kingdom they tell, And [of] Thy might they speak,
12 To make known to sons of men His mighty acts, The honour of the majesty of His kingdom.
13 Thy kingdom [is] a kingdom of all ages, And Thy dominion [is] in all generations.
14 Jehovah is supporting all who are falling, And raising up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all unto Thee do look, And Thou art giving to them their food in its season,
16 Opening Thy hand, and satisfying The desire of every living thing.
17 Righteous [is] Jehovah in all His ways, And kind in all His works.
18 Near [is] Jehovah to all those calling Him, To all who call Him in truth.
19 The desire of those fearing Him He doth, And their cry He heareth, and saveth them.
20 Jehovah preserveth all those loving Him, And all the wicked He destroyeth.
21 The praise of Jehovah my mouth speaketh, And all flesh doth bless His holy name, To the age and for ever!

Praise the Lord to save us to copy the whole Bible to here (by a rare version, by the way). SHADES!!! Are You here? Or are You swamped with my imaginary pictures or Paul's drinking habits? Really...
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco - To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
And pictures of Zeezrom, hey pal Zee --- or zeez; or whatever!

It is rather peculiar that an atheist would be so upset with this walk through the Bible. No one is twisting your arm to either read it or accept it. Are you reading and finding that what the Bible actually says is causing you to have ulcers? Again, why would you want it ended or stopped? Why does this thread bother you al all. You will have to consider this. Something that you consider so unimportant, so trivial, so antiquated, so silly, so infantile, so unscientific, so ----so ---- so unimportant, annoys you to the point of hysteria.
The simple fact is that most people today do not read the Bible. Many don't read anything that isn't online. For some the Bible is too long, too involved, too complex, etc... But taken in small bites, and having the opportunity to get another perspective, and then it is not such a chore anymore. I mean simply that some have come a long way, perhaps further along than they ever imagined. The Old Testament for many is considered the hardest part of the Bible.
So again, why should this thread bother you? With the Lord's help, I should get done before you pass away. So, take it in stride or leave it alone.

So if you lived 2 hundred years after Jesus, you would reject the Gospel of John because it wasn't old enough and because it "presented from the hand of one individual"?
