Great reading material. Not a lot of truth in there.

Kind of like the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

There is more truth in the Bible and Book of Mormon. But you are right much of those books are myth.

Deuteronomy 6
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Ephesians 4:4-6---King James Version (KJV)
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

The New Testament writers distinguished the "one Lord" from the "one God".

And also separated out the Lords:

Matthew 22:44---King James Version (KJV)
44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

How do you collate the change of theological language--from the Deutero-Isaiah era--to the New Testament era?

Continuing revelation?

Jesus Christ taught both He and mankind shared the same Father, as to the spirit:

John 20:17---King James Version (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Mittens wrote:The Book of Mormon condemns the Urantia Book, since it calls Jesus the eternal son. Since the Book of Mormon teaches Jesus had no Father until the flesh. [ Mosiah 15:3 and Mosiah 3:5 ]

Mosiah15:3
3 The Father, because he was conceived by the power of God; and the Son, because of the flesh; thus becoming the Father and Son—

Mosiah3:5
5 For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men, and shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay, and shall go forth amongst men, working mighty miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, causing the lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases.

Could you show us where one finds the conclusion "Jesus had no Father until the flesh"--in those two passages?

Jesus Christ taught both He and mankind shared the same Father, as to the spirit:

John 20:17---King James Version (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Have you ever been taught "no private interpretation" of scripture

2 Peter 1:20 ►

King James Bible
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Justice = Getting what you deserve
Mercy = Not getting what you deserve
Grace = Getting what you can never deserve

Yup--but John17 is explicit--Jesus Christ shared the same God and Father as mankind. And that could not be a reference to the flesh, as Christ did not share the same Father as mankind in the flesh.

Which leaves the spirit:

Hebrews 12:9---King James Version (KJV)
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

No where in the Bible or the Book of Mormon does it teach God the Father is the Father of Jehovah or the pre-incarnate Jesus. I fact Mosiah 15:3-4 says that would be impossible

1 Peter 1:3---King James Version (KJV)
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

John 20:17---King James Version (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
