That would be because he finds himself amoung the scientifically illiterate that are incapable of comprehending the reasons that Hovind's pseudoscientific arguments are a fail.

Does he not realize that Hovind repeats his PRATTS over and over again? Yes all of his crack pot assertions have been debunked and are on record for any who have enough self-respect to educate themselves. But those who prefer to continue to believe in their voodoo religion will continue to darken their minds with any inconsistent position that comes along. They make the mistake of thinking that opening their mouth with anything is better than remaining silent. Even Answers in Genesis disagrees with Kent Hovind's arguments and recommends they not be used. In other words AiG finds Hovind's defense of their beliefs to be an embarressment (just as old earth Christians find AiG's defense to be an embarrassment).

That's right Little Nipper. You are doing more harm than good. Whenever an intelligent Christian reads the junk you post you create more atheists at worst and at best sow the seeds of doubt in the minds of others. So keep posting away. You are inadvertently educating the rising generation and saving them some money on their entertainment budget besides.

The truth is that you don't have any idea what time is to GOD. The reality is that scientist who have no understanding of the Divine are placing the time perimeters. They are contriving the time. GOD made a walking, talking man and not a baby. The Bible is very clear. I am intrigued by diverse theories. They cause discussion and stimulate thought. Evolution stimulates nothing ---- one either accepts it and adds to it or one is considered an idiot.

You say that God started small and made things more elaborate over time ---if you believe in God at all. Oddly, even the most simple of the smallest organisms have been found to be enormously complex.

You don't get to tell God what to do, Nipper. God can use evolution if he wants. Unless you think that you get to boss God around.

It would be odd if they weren't. They have all been evolving for the same length of time.

Nipper, I can see the sense in saying we have no idea what time is to God. That question does not add to this discussion however. Spotlight was talking about time as seen and experienced by people.

I just cannot begin to understand how you can say that scientist are contriving the time sequence. The geology is objective. If I go up the stream from where I live I enter a canyon which reveals on its sides layer after layer of basalt rock seperated by thinner layers of soft sandy dusty stuff. The basalt is hardened lava which has flowed out in broad expanses. It is not making up stuff to say that it flowed after the stuff that it is on top of. That is simple logic. It is also clear logic to say the stream cut the canyon after the basalt cooled into rock. Streams do not cut canyons in hot lava.

And WHO are YOU, MR ATHEIST, to tell me what God is and is not. Such a hypocrite ---- pretending to defend God? The Bible is nothing regarding evolution and everything about Creation, God's Law, and His plan of Salvation. The Bible does show man making the very same mistakes over and over again. Man uses evolution to try to eliminate the annoyance of God from one's decision making and try to prove he is so much better.

Show me fossils of any organism that demonstrates your belief... Compare the one celled organism of today with that of his ancestor of yesterday. Show me the differences between mold today and yesterday ------ so we can see how less complex and simple they once were.

That's what REAL universities are for, Nipper. That's where your answers are. Have you ever looked at the course offerings and requirements for a degree in biology? They involve taking classes and laboratory time and an introduction to research. This body of knowledge is huge and expanding rapidly. If you're interested in Paleontology you'll need biology, chemistry, geology, a great deal more than a list of "missing links". Here's from the University of Utah's introductory page on Paleontology as taught and researched from that institution:

........................

Current Research

The current staff of NHMU Paleontology includes Curator Dr. Randall Irmis. Over the past ten years, our research has focused heavily on the Mesozoic vertebrate paleontology of Utah. Current field-based major research projects include:

Late Cretaceous of southern Utah in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
Late Triassic of southeastern and northeastern Utah
Late Triassic of Ghost Ranch, northern New Mexico
Early Permian of southeastern Utah

This research has resulted in major discoveries of new species of dinosaurs and other vertebrate animals from the time of dinosaurs. The goal of our fieldwork is to understand how climate and sea level have driven the evolution and biogeography of non-marine vertebrate animals during the Triassic and Cretaceous. To this end, we collaborate with a large group of geologists, geochronologists, geochemists, paleobotanists, and other paleontologists both at the University of Utah and other institutions.

Volunteer To Be a Part of the NHMU Paleontology Team!

Our research team includes staff, students, and you! The exciting discoveries made by NHMU Paleontology would not be possible without the vital teamwork of our dedicated group of volunteers, who put in over 15,000 person-hours a year. You too can become a part of this amazing team and work with fossils that are millions of years old. Start by checking out our current volunteer opportunities available in these areas: fieldwork, fossil preparation, and collections.

Once again...... and again........ and again, great links Spotlight and Maksutov!
The link of the Utah genetics was fun, very easy, and important since I just happen to right now be reading a fantastically easy book to grasp on just this subject of genetic DNA in our genome and how it demonstrates evolution of humans. The book is Daniel J. Fairbanks, "Relics of Eden, The Powerful Evidence of Evolution in Human DNA," Prometheus Books, 2007. The fantastic thing he does is demonstrates that our very DNA in us right now is evidence for evolution of millions and billions of years since we possess in OUR bodies, RIGHT NOW, the junk mutations and changes of ancient DNA! We are repositories of proof of evolution and are just now coming to grasp that now that we have completed the human genome project. So interesting!
