Have you defended Runnells in the same manner and asked DCP to leave him alone?

If there was a similar thread made about Runnels, yes, I would. I have also emailed Runnels directly regarding my support.

But if DCP writes a blog post about Runnells, that’s okay?

I don’t read all of DCP’s blogs. If he wrote one, I missed it. I have a lot going on in my own life.

No problem, ihaq, it's not a derail at all, as it points out yet another strategy being used to avoid actually addressing the plagiarism. In my opinion, people only deflect like that when they can't address the main issue.

JP has yet to respond to any of my factual documentation of Peterson's plagiarism. Of course she is not obligated to, but as long as she continues on this thread to deflect, attack, and make passive aggressive non-statements, I will continue to point that out.

Just so you don’t have to continue to wonder, the F*** you comment was simply offered due to my frustration of your treatment and Doc’s treatment of me in this thread. I obviously don’t have thick enough skin to post here at times and frankly I should know better than to attempt to offer any type of defense to Dan on anything that is said here. It always becomes a pile on and I end up getting my feelings hurt.

I didn’t make any further comment on what you had documented because it was my understanding that you and others did not appreciate my continued participation here and I had been trying to exit the thread for several pages. If people hadn’t kept twisting my words, I would have stopped posting here a long time ago.

Good luck with recompiling your information. As long as I am no longer maligned, I’ll stay out of everyone’s hair.

I remember the first time I accidently hit “Control+C” and then “Control+V,” and then unintentionally reformatted it, and then unintentionally looked at the footnotes of the thing I accidently copy-pasted, and then unintentionally cited those footnotes as the source for the thing I copied (errors and all), and then unintentionally published it on my blog.

Life is funny that way.

Is this how a mopologist loan-shifts the meaning of words? You know, so unintentional now means intentional?

Earlier, you mentioned Peterson having explained his "unintentional" plagiarizing, as per Tom's post. That is incorrect, he has not explained anything for many of the documented cases, including this one dated 8.1.17; it is the Anfinsen piece Tom mentioned:

Lemmie, it was my understanding that Dan’s blog post dated on November 15th was an explanation for carelessness on his part that covered the group of postings that you and others had mentioned. Maybe I was wrong in how I interpreted what he said.

At this point, if BYU chooses to look into this, as I said before, the chips will fall where they may. For his sake, I hope they don’t fire him. I know that you and others here hope otherwise.

I wasn't aware we had a history. I recall supporting the board's decision to kick you off as a Moderator after you tried to reveal Dr. Scratch's IP address and after several other examples of your unethical behavior.

Other than that, I really don't pay any attention to you or your posts. I find it strange you've held on to this grudge for so many years. Just let it go. You'll feel much better.

That is a flat-out lie. I never revealed Scratch’s IP address and you know it. Talk about derailing a thread.

And then Everybody Wang Chung will come back with either an additional allegation or link to a thread and she'll deny it. Then Scratch will come plowing out of the shadows with a lot of documentation to which she'll claim that now she's being crucified (with her own words no less) and how upset she is and then Scratch will come back and say how she sets herself up for punishment for a variety of reasons I'd rather not post here and then she'll say how she's now feeling sick about the whole thing and how everyone "wins" and she's the bad guy (eating worms as it were) and vow to leave the board and in a day or two she'll come back with a new screen name whereupon it'll take oh I dunno maybe a dozen posts before someone ID's her and the cycle will repeat itself because that's how it goes, people.

There I saved everyone the trouble of wondering where this is going. These are the voyages of the Starship MDB, we're somewhere about 2013 time frame right now. Don't worry, we'll write a whole new chapter. I'd bet my house on it if I didn't need a place to live.
