Mueller/SDNY/NY State/AG of New Jersey&DC: Biggest threat?

Still very early to tell (which is part of the fun, looking through the fog) but it's quite possible that the most damaging legal case against Trump may very well not come from The Special Counsel's Office.

• Mueller: Russian Collusion
• SDNY: Cohen /Trump Businesses
• NY Attorney General: Trump Charities
• New Jersey & D.C. Attorneys General: Emoluments
• Manhattan U.S. Attorney's Office: Trump Inaugural Committee

This is not a list of all of the lawsuits against Trump. If someone feels there is another suit that is a bigger danger, please post.

In looking at the list, the Russia Probe, if it can be proven, is the biggest potential threat. I am not entirely sure if Trump will be an unindicted co-conspirator. Obviously a lot of people around him were involved in shady deals, but a lot depends on the physical evidence and electronic data that Mueller has collected.

But if you look at all of the other suits that Trump faces, there would appear to be the potential for more clear cut violations of the law. Trump might be able to survive the damage of one suit, but if 2 or more proceed substantially, Trump could conceivably be a un-impeached but very damaged.

It is conceivable that the Democrats would not proceed with Impeachment. They could let a damaged Trump stay in the White House and take their chances in 2020. If their hesitance to impeach is considered Constitutional prudence it could help their chances in 2020. But if enough people are outraged by the President's conduct, they would have a hard time standing in opposition to impeachment.

Ok, apart from your Reddit regurgitations, let us pause and pretend some of us pay attention to American political history and basic civics.

But its funny how in the face of yet another unfounded allegation you fall on Republicans blocking as opposed to Democrats incessant wasting of time- for example, reading many of those subpoenas one finds that there is no effective outcome.

“If you are dying for media attention you send a subpoena,” Gowdy said in an interview. “If you’re sending a subpoena to someone you know is not going to comply with it or you know does not have to comply with it, then it’s all showmanship.”

The current DNC strategy of death by a thousand accusations is impressive but that doesn't make it any less stupid (remember Eric Holder's reaction to all those subpoenas?).

Gee, i don't know you were Dick Cheney but your "if you've got nothing to hide then don't worry" argument is very well understood. But please, feel feee to lay some actual foundation for how the +50 subpoenas are ripe with substance and effectiveness instead of simply being another Democratic sideshow to distract the emotional invalides from the sad absence of principles and imagination in their 1 ring circus tent.
