I think this is a repeat link. Don't care. It's golden and they're doing this number on the No Filter tour during the acoustic on B stage. (End of the catwalk).

Just watch Keith in groove Nirvana with Bobby Keys' righteous sax. RIP Bobby Keys. Southern boy did himself proud.

(Cocaine and heroin version again. Listen to the lyrics. )

My absolute favorite to ever come out of Mick and Keith's heads and into my ears.

Posting this in case I die and never make it back here to declare my all time favorite Stones tune. by the way, I've left instructions that if my heart starts to flip out for my co-concert goers to drag me over to the stage and toss me up at Keith Richards feet. There's a cardiologist behind the stage and if he can't help me, at least I'll die looking up at Keith Richards. ;-)

Recovering...you'll see why. I'm going to be entirely forthcoming here. The good, the bad, and the flippin' fantastic. Please bear with me.

So we set out for Denver (me driving) when I didn't get 20 minutes from home, started a panic attack, had to pull off into a 7-11 parking lot to get through it when the one who was riding with me called the other one to come to the parking lot and take over driving because Mom's losing her crap. Me sitting in my car doing all my assistive stuff like a freak. I've got it all in play--my recording that I use, relaxation breathing, self massage (arms, don't get crazy). Breathe in 5, hold 2, breathe out 5. And it starts to pass.

The recording is the soundtrack from A Walk in the Woods, a film I mentioned to Cam during his AT hike because it's about an AT hike. He recommended the book to me. The sound track is transcendent. I mean it.

(Remember when I wrote that I had my heart shocked 2 weeks ago and get panic attacks afterwards? I never had time to recover from those because we had people in the hospital.)

Got up to the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel and oh my God I HATE the city. Too many people (and dogs), too many cars, too much noise and tall buildings that make me feel like a trapped rat with an anxiety disorder. The car gets crammed into valet parking for which I paid 49$ and didn't flinch for a single second. Checked in and the room doesn't have the third bed in it. One of my kids calls and raises hell. Gets the bed AND a discount on the room. We settle in and decide to nap for an hour before we head over to the stadium.

Everyone gets ready and we're down waiting for Uber. Kavonte picks us up :-) and it's an easy ride across I-25. Let's us out, we start walking...I know we need to find Gate 4. As we're walking I see the freaking steps to the levels and start dying inside. The medication I take slows my heart rate and while I can exercise really well, steps are like death to me. Keep walking, finally find "the line" and...no steps!!!

Entering the stadium is like TSA at any busy airport. Clear bags, metal detector. I set off the metal detector because I'm on a 30-day event monitor because--long story. Finally get through, shove ourselves through a sea of people and get into the actual stadium. More steps. I did fine. :-)

This is my first time in a huge stadium except for wherever I saw the Mariners in Seattle which was probably the Kingdome. I do NOT remember it being this HUGE. My god the place was my idea of introvert hell surrounded by people all around me, on top of me, below me, people as far as the eye can see whichever way I look. Once again I feel trapped. I'm essentially in a coffin with people sitting on the lid and there's no way out of this.

We get there just after the opening act. Somebody and the Night Sweats. It's still daylight. We get in our seats. Remember this is Colorado with legal weed. Weed for days. This old hippie guy sitting next to one of my kids starts passing a joint. Offered it to me, I say I'd love to but I'm not sure if it'd be good for my heart. He tells me he's got a pacemaker and it's great for his heart. I decline anyway. Instead I slam a beta blocker because now I'm getting keyed up because I'm in the coffin. There's a video of me on Facebook right now in full blown panic attack--it was enough to alarm one of my relatives in Jersey. In hindsight, I should have taken the hit.

continued...
