Here's the tour. They're almost done. When you vote for a song to be played at your concert, you're automatically entered to win 2 tickets to the last performance in Miami. Jagger has a home in Miami. Do we get to drop in if we win? ;-)

From the videos it looks and sounds like it was a very good concert, Jersey Girl. Good set list. That's fantastic. I was at the Fillmore off of 16th Street the Saturday before. Not the Rolling Stones, mind you, but very enjoyable watching Bush (+Live). Machine Head, Little Things, The Sound of Winter, Glycerine, Everything Zen, and Come Down. I will probably try to catch the recently announced show for October 12 in SLC.
I am having a nostalgic renaissance with 90s music. Bush and the Offspring are my two favorites, but would I love it if the Gallagher brothers would resurrect Oasis. I also will probably get a chance to see Green Day next year.

Saw The Offspring last year at an outdoor punk fest which was fun. They were the main stage main act band that closed it out, with bands like Pennywise and Rancid on before them. It was a a good time and some good memories it brought back to mind. I never saw The Offspring before, but had friends who claimed to have seen them in the early 90s at the what was the Whittier in Logan Utah before they broke out.

Fun is definitely the one word description of a concert by The Offspring.

So as I mentioned throughout this thread, I had hoped the Stones would play Beast and they never did. It was never performed in any of the concerts, never came up in the song vote. I figured Jagger's deeper voice might have not been able to handle it...or something. And so they never played it.
Until last night in Seattle.
It came up on the song vote. I knew it'd win. It did and they did it. I am patiently waiting for a concert goer to come up with a video of it.
Seattle sure got lucky last night!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
That's a 50+ year old vintage Gibson he's playing there. Even Richards says that's the prettiest piece of music he's ever written.
I could listen to a straight up instrumental version of it all day long. I so love it! Thanks again!

Look away. I ain't done yet.
So a couple or three former heroin addicts, boozers, cocaine abusers, including one guy with part of a lung missing, another with a new heart valve, all in their 70's richer and than anyone has a right to be...give me my vote
and sing one of the best "stick it" songs of the 60's ever written and we wonder why they're still doing it.
Here's the whole tune up close. Pretty sure that this is why they do it.

They freaking love it.
We were sitting right under the row of windows. Bet if you listen, you could probably hear me singing the whole song. Ok, maybe not. But still....

Re: I got my plans I don't know about you (Stones concert!)
Just for general purposes. We are HERE:
August 18 – Santa Clara, CA @ Levi’s®️ Stadium
August 22 – Pasadena, CA @ The Rose Bowl
August 26 – Glendale, AZ @ State Farm Stadium
August 31 – Miami, Florida @ Hard Rock Stadium
Down to CA, hop over to AZ and the slide home into Miami. Well, Jagger's home at least.
I'll continue following the concerts. I want to see what else they pull out of the archives. So far, they've yanked out Mercy Mercy 50 years later, Harlem Shuffle I believe 30 years later, they sure enough played Beast of Burden...wonder what else they'll pull out?
I would seriously like to see them do something like Time or Tell Me. Spider and the Fly. There are so many I'd like to hear them perform again. If I could wave a magic wand and have any song I wanted, I would make them do Good Times (Sam Cooke cover that this thread title was taken from).
Remember they started out as a cover band with an emphasis on Chicago Blues...and grew from there. I'd like to see them reach waaaaay back! In fact, I'd love to see them do a whole concert tour of nothing but their early covers and compositions. That would be AH-MAZING!
And I wouldn't mind seeing Bill Wyman rejoin the band for one good blast...not to mention guitar virtuoso Mick Taylor.
Of course I have all those early recordings myself (mostly on vinyl) but still...I'd love it!
