Re: Impeachment hearings
Barr recently announced that all investigations into criminal wrong of the Presidential candidates doing have to go through him. He has also previously stated that because the President cannot be indicted, he cannot be investigated by federal law enforcement. So, with that closed loop, Trump is immune from federal law enforcement investigation into criminal wrongdoing around the election. Democrats not so much.
At the risk of being told I am smearing him, Barr is Trump’s most dangerously effective henchman.

HUH?
It's record, on video and audio that Hunter was taking money for no experience, standing on air force two in the Ukraine, Joe doing a quid pro quo, it is fact that Mykola Zlochevsky hired Hunter, and is now missing and wanted for stealing goverment monies, that were most likely part of the 3 billion Joe gave to the country. There is so much more also.
And I have no idea what you mean by..."didn't he use the DoJ to investigate Trump?" is that a typo? Who is the "he?"

Markk, you're an idiot for passing along this Glenn Beck drivel. If there were evidence to support any of this you would have presented by now.

Yes, we must purge all people with corporate board posts who have gotten these cushy salaries due to connections and name over experience or skill.

Wasn’t Mark in another thread arguing not to question the wisdom of billionaires? I don’t think I have seen someone who enjoyed the taste of boots so much on this board before.
Unfortunately, those billionaires, in their infinite wisdom, are sometimes the people responsible for people getting those vanity posts on corporate boards. How is Mark gonna question their business sense?

Speaking of kids of politicians making money off a family name, you have to check this out. Trump goes off on an unhinged rant about Hunter Biden and then says maybe his kids should consider trying to make money the same way. As if they're not already!

Hmm. Seems as if Hunter Biden is a bit more experienced that you’d like to presume.
From Wiki, because facts are apparently a ‘deep state’ thing:
“In 1992, he graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor's degree in history. During the year after he graduated from college, he served as a Jesuit volunteer at a church in Portland, Oregon, where he met Kathleen Buhle, whom he married in 1993. After attending Georgetown University Law Center for one year, he transferred to Yale Law School, graduating in 1996.
After graduating from law school, Biden took a position at MBNA America, a major bank holding company which was also a major contributor to his father's political campaigns. By 1998, he had risen to the rank of executive vice president. From 1998 to 2001, he served in the United States Department of Commerce, focusing on ecommerce policy.[20] Biden became a lobbyist in 2001, co-founding the firm of Oldaker, Biden & Belair. According to Adam Entous of The New Yorker, Biden and his father established a relationship in which "Biden wouldn't ask Hunter about his lobbying clients, and Hunter wouldn't tell his father about them." In 2006, Biden and his uncle, James Biden, attempted to buy Paradigm, a hedge-fund group, but the deal fell apart before completion. That same year he was appointed by President George W. Bush to a five year term on the board of directors of Amtrak. He was a board member from July 2006 until he resigned in February 2009, and the board's vice chairman from July 2006 to January 2009, leaving both roles shortly after his father became vice president. He had realized during his father's vice presidential campaign that it was time for his lobbying activities to end.
In 2009, Biden, along with Devon Archer and John Kerry's stepson Christopher Heinz, founded the investment firm Rosemont Seneca.
He also joined the law firm Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, and founded Eudora Global, a venture capital firm.”

I have several times, at least read what I pasted with links and cf. by the way, I have no idea what Beck is saying, every time I listen to him he is crying and telling me to buy gold and seeds that germinate.......but you can read about this online in places like the post, times, usa today, and read all the pundit crap from both sides.
Start here...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi03EjUxxpc This is ABC...what did Hunter receive from China? He said he did not recieve any money...what did he receive, do a little homework.
Why was it that he was asked to be on the board?

Re: Impeachment hearings
When we set up our LLC, our accountant guided us through the process and said we needed to appoint at least three people to a board of directors even. I asked him who could that be and he basically said it can be anyone, but most business owners prefer people with high credibility in the community.

If the President wanted to know that, why didn't he use the DoJ for an investigation?
Well according to canpakes there is not enough evidence...I obviously disagree and have given plenty of evidence for an investigation, and opined that it is within the Presidents power to ask for an investigation of corruption of a goverment official to anyone.
Why do you believe Trump did not ask the DoJ?
Apparently, Trump knows a bit more about the situation than you and disagrees that anything overtly beneficial can come of that sort of politically motivated sham investigation if he were to try to force our DoJ to initiate it.
