I believe Markk's reasoning is that there wasn't sufficient evidence to trigger a DoJ investigation (which can be a laughably low bar) but Trump was justified on the evidence he had to try to circumvent US standards of justice by working with a nation's political system he believed to be corrupt by using organized crime connections as a go-between to manufacture a situation in which he would violate US law to pressure Ukraine into announcing an investigation into Joe Biden, undermine Russian culpability for 2016 election espionage, and nothing else.

That's what I got from what he had to say, too.

Based on the things he posted there's absolutely more than enough to trigger a review and subsequent investigation into the Bidens' dealings in Ukraine by multiple agencies, to include the DoJ.

Asked if they support or oppose the Senate’s decision to acquit Trump, 43 percent of poll respondents said that the Senate made the right decision in acquitting the 45th president of the charges against him, while 41 percent say they opposed the Senate’s decision. A significant number — 17 percent — say they are undecided (a.k.a. don't care) about the issue.- Reuters Poll

Proof, yet again, subgenius pops in and out to drive-by post.

Anyway.

Subgenius,

From your last drive-by. Why would LTC Vindman want to look into the Bidens with regard to national security? Wouldn’t corruption be the purview of the DoJ?

To continue about the poll's results:

'When asked about Trump’s acquittal, 48% of respondents said Trump “is probably guilty of the charges against him, and the Senate is protecting him,” while 39% said the president “is probably innocent of the charges against him, and the Senate made the right decision to acquit.”

The results suggest that some respondents feel that even if Trump did something wrong, it was not enough to warrant his removal from office.'

What spurred this initial question was subgenius trying to distract from his twin brother also being subject to the White House purge.

Subgenius would happily dance on the grave of America if it meant that he could feel Democrats are getting owned. That's all that matters to him. That's why he is routinely found gloating in circumstances where it makes no sense.

Markk wrote:I can only imagine the corruption and waste we don't see. I work with state and local governments all the time, and just on that level legal corruption and privilege is really hard to accept.

The current Administration is only concerned with the supposed corruption of political candidates that challenge them in elections, regardless of said corruption not existing. ; )

Given your stated reasons, why didn’t Trump order the DoJ to investigate the Bidens?

LOL...Because I stated my reasons when I answered the question in 5 different ways ...

Your answer, then, is that Trump didn’t have the Bidens investigated because he knew they were corrupt.

If that’s your claim, then it would seem sensible to have Trump investigated for his complicity in this corruption.
