I'm just being a pedantic asshole. I knew what you meant. I'm in a Monday type of a mood, so I'm playin'.
I realized that, of course, and expected exactly that response from you, the minute I pressed the enter key. I even looked forward to it! I have been known to exhibit that same pedantic trait myself. I actually enjoy that kind of friendly, back and forth banter. You obviously do too. It is yet another way we are alike.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

President Donald Trump on Monday claimed to have the authority to issue an executive order addressing the expected influx of mail-in voting in the November election and said he hadn’t ruled out doing so, in spite of the Constitution’s expressly giving states the right to run their elections.
Trump really wants to mess with the November election. This impediment to democracy needs to be stopped.

He's out of his mind desperate.

Remember when we were worried about Russian interference in our election? Now the President of the United States is openly and blatantly implying that HE will interfere in our election. On camera, in writing, and coming straight to you from the White House in full public view.

Let that thought sink in for a minute or two.

How? Unless congress, including the Senate passes legislation mandating sufficient funding for the Post Service to adequately handle all the mail-in ballots, with a veto proof 2/3 majority, how is that going to happen? Are there enough Republican Senators willing to thwart Trump's determination to cripple the Postal Service so it can't do its job?

Terrifying, isn't it? Especially considering that Trump's current appointee at the head of the Postal Service is someone who, like so many of Trump's department heads, is dedicated to facilitate weakening or even destroying the very agency they've been appointed to head.
