Question for all:

Had the civilians at the Capitol cornered Mike Pence and convinced Pence to declare Trump the winner, and had Pence proceeded to declare Trump the winner, would you have considered Trump the lawful president from that moment forward?

Do you mean "convinced" in the sense of putting a noose round his neck and informing him that unless he stated that Trump had won the election they would string him up in the Senate chamber, or "convinced" in the sense of providing new relevant argument and evidence which, on careful consideration and after taking further legal advice, he came to think was persuasive?

It does rather matter which you mean ...

I'm fine with this.

I’m not so sure that anyone in that crowd was prepared for that option. About as close as anyone could have come would have been to hand Pence a copy of the Eastman memo.

Why, do you see yourself as someone that I couldn't handle?
Yes, because I always have. As has everyone else you've tried to engage over the years. In terms of being a small fry, you're the smallest of small fries and probably the most pathetic this board has ever seen. I can't think of a single time when you've presented a single original thought or made an actual argument that made it to round two where you were expected to answer questions.

As far as my education goes, I'll leave that to people to judge for themselves. The only ones calling me uneducated are idiots like you who wouldn't dare engage me in an actual debate, and that says something.

You know, this is really over the top. I don't understand what this posturing accomplishes. I am sorry, but I value ceeboo, and I don't think we should cut people down in this way. What does it mean to add anything original? I am not sure that any of us has accomplished this, except perhaps a precious few people. I am grateful for the work you did on the Book of Abraham. I am grateful to others who have brought valuable insights here. Along with that, I am just happy that this place is not an echo chamber, and it takes people with quite different perspectives to make it so.

That's great, but CeeBoo only responds to me with condescending quips and this has been true for more than a decade. He/she typically pops in with a "Dennis Prager Tells the Truth" rant and then disappears when challenged. I'm hardly the only person here who's noticed this.

As far as education goes, I have absolutely no problem with uneducated people debating issues so long as they're speaking from an informed perspective or they're not being jackasse. AtlanticMike wears his stupidity on his sleeve by constantly throwing up random youtube videos. Neither he nor CeeBoo have shown the ability to present a coherent argument beyond the initial assertion. AM is basically shock and awe bluster. CeeBoo is just a cheerleader for anyone who attacks me.

I guess you two have a mutual antipathy going on. In any case, I have said what I wanted to say. It will probably not be the case that people abandon the costly pastime of cutting each other down for sport.
