Re: Sticks and Stones
Another ajax post.... about race. Hard to imagine anything less from a notorious racist. He's received his daily programming from Right Wing outlets on what he's supposed to be upset about.

ajax, folks were literally taken from their homes, slapped in chains, shipped halfway around the word, and sold into bondage, to be beaten and killed if they sought their own freedom, all under the label of n*gg*r. And that’s just part of the story.
I don’t blame the descendants of those folks for wanting to reclaim the word as a way of stripping it of its initial power and representation. But why would any ‘white man’, since you’re asking, need to use it in reference to any black man? What would the purpose be in doing so?

It's just kind of sad that a word has such power over people, especially when the only people who most often use it now are other black people.canpakes wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 1:14 amajax, folks were literally taken from their homes, slapped in chains, shipped halfway around the word, and sold into bondage, to be beaten and killed if they sought their own freedom, all under the label of n*gg*r. And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

‘White’, ‘Christian’, and ‘Nationalism’ also have great power over people.ajax18 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 2:44 amIt's just kind of sad that a word has such power over people, especially when the only people who most often use it now are other black people.canpakes wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 1:14 amajax, folks were literally taken from their homes, slapped in chains, shipped halfway around the word, and sold into bondage, to be beaten and killed if they sought their own freedom, all under the label of n*gg*r.
