I'm curious what you think people who from what I gather are doing substantially better than average get out of a "socialist agenda"? Are they self-destructive and looking go broke and die in the street so that a poor person who doesn't work can have a great life?
What is a socialist agenda, and why would people who have a great deal to lose financially under "socialism" voluntarily hand over their livelihoods for it?
Remember, we're talking about average citizens, not politicians. I realize a case can be made for politicians to benefit from an oppressive government.
We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have maybe what they're supposed to have. They get rid of some of the people who have been there for 25 years and they work great and then you throw them out and they're replaced by criminals.

Average citizens in what way? Do you care for me to point out the countless numbers of people that cheat on their taxes and still vote Democrat? A communist never looks at the people below him and says I need to give more. He can only look above him and say this other person should pay more. There's no law against writing a check to the IRS and overpaying on your income taxes if you really believe that you need to pay more and if you really believe that nobody knows how to better spend that money than the federal government. Now show me a single Democrat of any income level who has ever done this, and I'll show you a million more who have cheated on their taxes.
The only real way to make money in a democratic socialist/communist economy is to major in political science and get into government. But you don't have to ultimately get anything out of the socialist agenda in order to be seduced into voting for it. Believing that printing money and paying people not to work doesn't create inflation but rather helps to narrow the gap between rich and poor hasn't made it so. Regardless of who you voted for in the last election, you're suffering from the same inflation. Environmentalist like Gunnar are paying the same amount for a gallon of gas as I am. Keynsian economists have seen their 401k devalued just as much as I have. And Schmo and I both are waiting 3 to 4 months on supplies that may never come. Believing that you'd have more money for retirement if the government saved it for you rather than you saving it yourself in this great program called social security doesn't mean it ever paid off.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

"Convoy organizers said they were moved to protest by a federal government requirement that truck drivers be fully vaccinated if they want to avoid a 14-day quarantine upon re-entry from the United States. However it’s a bilateral measure with the U.S. imposing the same rule on Jan. 22 — meaning that even if Canada ended the restriction, it would make no practical difference.
The demonstrators in Ottawa, Ontario and elsewhere are primarily demanding an end to all COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other restrictions including mask requirements — though most of those were put in place by provincial governments. Protesters have called, too, for Trudeau’s resignation.
The “freedom convoy” was announced in early January by a group called Canada Unity, which was founded by James Bauder, a supporter of the QAnon conspiracy theories. Also involved are Tamara Lich, who previously belonged to the far-right Maverick Party, which calls for western Canada to become independent; and a former member of Trudeau’s Royal Canadian Mounted Police security detail.
Few actual commercial trucks are a part of the blockade at the Ambassador Bridge. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Friday that the last count he had was five of them there, with the rest being personal cars: “Ninety-nine percent of the truckers are working their backs off. ... This is about a political statement, that’s what this is about.”

WINDSOR, Ontario (AP) — Police moved in to clear and arrest the remaining protesters near a key U.S.-Canadian border bridge early Sunday, trying to end one of the main protests that have broken out across Canada and the world against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other restrictions.
Windsor police said arrests were being made and vehicles were being towed just after dawn near the Ambassador Bridge linking Detroit and Windsor, Ontario — the busiest border crossing to the U.S. Television images showed officers detaining protesters.
