I have an aunt who has been deleting my Facebook Friend Requests for nearly a decade now. I suspected this was because someone told her that I am not a Mormon anymore. But I don't know for sure why she has decided that her nephew is unworthy of her accepting a Friend Request even though she is friends with all my other brothers. We had so many fun times in the past. I was recently informed that she is a moronic Trump supporter from my brother, whom she told if he didn't delete a meme poking fun at Trump she would unfriend him. How insanely ridiculous is that? So I sent her one more friend request just for hell of it, and then messaged her this photo:
Since she is not going to accept a friend request from me anyways, I figured why not “F” with her a little bit since she has no respect for me, or the wonderful times we had together growing up. (she is only a few years older than me). Sadly, she is now one of those Mormon Christians who haven't the slightest clue what Jesus Christ was supposedly talking about. I love her still, but sadly she is nowadays a moronic self righteous Trumpster ass.
Am I a Dick for messaging her the above photo meme? I'm having a really hard time feeling guilty for it.

I'm glad I don't do social media and don't have to deal with all these kinds of conflicts with family because a whole lot of right-wingers.

No. In fact, it's your duty. People are resisting the truth like never before.
Besides, it's fun to express what a moron Trump is, especially when so many people seem utterly blind to that fact. If a person has any positive feelings toward Trump, there is something fundamentally wrong with them. Their brain is broken.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.
I think the answer for me is that, yeah... that was kind of a dick move. You knew it would bother her and you did it anyway for nothing more than your own entertainment (sounds kinda familiar around here). Is your aunt a dick too? I don't have a ton of information to go off but probably a little bit, it certainly doesn't sound like she was very interested in building a relationship on neutral ground.
As far as any questions about should you have done anything differently, that all depends on what you hoped to get out of it. At least for the foreseeable future that bridge is likely burned (although it doesn't sound like there was much bridge there to start with) so as long as you're fine with that then burn away. However, if you truly did hope to reconnect with her there were probably a lot better things you could have messaged her with. That said, with such a narrow view into that relationship don't listen to something some rando on the internet has to say about it.

Yeah, what xeno said, except to add: we're all dicks from time to time. Forgive yourself, learn, move on, do your best.
Very fair and I point I should have included. None of us is without a few dick moments here or there.

I would add: don't lose sleep over an occasional dick moment.
