Facebook mystery...sleuth this!

I need better heads than mine on this. I got a message on Facebook saying that someone accepted a friend request that I never sent. I looked a few scant seconds at their Facebook account then immediately blocked them but I copied the name. Got that?

I google searched up the person and a real person comes up in the results. I just about croaked on the spot. Get this. The person (female) lives in my hometown in Jersey a few streets from my old house.

I don't know this person at all. Last name is Italian...whatever who cares.

I go back to my Facebook and now there is this weird script writing all over it including my screen name.

If I put that script into a google search nothing comes up in the results.

What the heck is that? What happened? Anyone know?

Oh and by the way, this person apparently has a connection to a local restaurant in Jersey. Guess who goes there to eat? Remember the toxic friend I wrote about on the board?

Yup, that one.



ETA: I just changed my password and the script disappeared. What happened? Any guesses? I made a copy of the weird script. If you want to see it PM me and I'll show it to you.

ETA: Why does weird stuff always have to happen to me? Am I cursed or something?

So I just sleuthed a little more on my own. The script appears to be Iranian.

I've clearly been violated by someone who speaks Pashto.

But why? I think someone random hacked me. I've been hacked!

That's it. I'm going to bed. I can't even be up in the night without some spooky weird stuff happening to me.

I've clearly been violated by someone who speaks Pashto.

I am a bit puzzled. Do you mean really mean that the language of the written material is Pashto (not a language widely spoken in Iran, I believe), or do you mean that the language is Farsi (which is the language mainly spoken in Iran, sometimes still called "Persian") in English?

Still, this must have been an unpleasant experience, whatever the language.

But why? My Facebook is locked down to the outside world.

I don't do anything bad on Facebook. Nothing bad has ever happened to me except reading the toxic friend's rants after I gray rocked her.

I don't play the games that show up like name meanings or anything because I read that those can get you hacked or whatever.

Facebook is all I use though I do have IG but all I do with that is lurk at a few people including Britney Spears...don't come for me. I just want to see what she's doing from time to time. It's a spectacle. I lurk at a couple of youtubers for their decor photos.

It just seems to be a Pashto note saying something like "See all friends: 68 friends", i.e. some kind of Facebook menu item. Pashto is one of the languages spoken in Afghanistan.
