Likely also unhinged.

It’s those folks, the anarchists, that I would think we all ought to be concerned with along with right wing fanatics . I wouldn’t hesitate to throughout the possibility that many of the summer rioters/anarchists were/are GenZ.
Bringing this forward as further evidence this is about polemic American politics, with MG largely asserting thoughtless rightwing propoganda points rather than engaging in discussion.

So, a survey done by an organization whose mission is to promote Christianity that I cannot access without giving them my e-mail address. https://www.neighborlyfaith.org/who-we-are

Hard pass.
From the very first page of this thread. Thing is, this site is pretty much fully accessible without an email address. And it went on from there.

True, the report referred to did require an email address.

The rest of the site is wide open.

For example, one can go to neighborly faith and in three clicks go to this:

https://www.voanews.com/a/thwarting-a-r ... 44037.html

Read it carefully. GenZ is changing the course of our society. Or hopes to. Along with many of their secular liberal humanist parents. And some on this thread wanted to derail by nitpicking on definitions.

What a ride this thread was. 🙂

And neighborly faith is made up of individuals of different backgrounds and religions. I guess what offended me is that right at the outset sources and websites were being dissed without really digging in. Oh well.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this thread makes it to eighty pages. Or we could just let things sit as they are…

What about all those secular liberal humanist founding fathers of the nation?

No MG, they weren't born unhinged born again Christians like Fox News tells you.

And by the way, the Book of Mormon is supposed to be the word of God, not Fox news.

These are the times when I seriously believe mentalgymnast is just here to troll. All the way back to page 1? Seriously, can an adult, one who was a teacher, no less, say something more asinine? This has to be a joke. If not dementia is taking hold or a stroke is happening and we need someone who lives out there to call in a wellness check.

See - MG was right! You, a secular person, are worried.

QED!

PS: I'm going to be in UT in a few weeks, but probably not far enough north :)
You can help Ukraine by talking for an hour a week!! PM me, or check www.enginprogram.org for details.

Say what you will…and you will. Fact is, I’m pointing out that at the outset of this thread there was an intentional ‘strike’ against looking at relevant resources.

I’m hoping you might have initially ran across and read the VOA article. If not, I provided it for you. As it was, there seemed to be those intent on steering folks away from information that would burst their secular liberal humanist bubble that ‘all is well’.

Stop by and you can take a “wellness check” on my overall mental health and well being and then return and report to Marcus. 😉

Lol. No, there wasn't. And the article was fully discussed, especially the fact that it was musudsed and in no way supported the position you nor the author were taking.

There are plenty of issues you haven't addressed, amd it's obvious you're frantically trying to attack others so you can avoid them. You know, like a troll would.

From the VOA reference:

The early numbers from the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning & Engagement (CIRCLE) suggest that 27% of people between the ages of 18 and 29 cast ballots Nov. 8, the second-highest youth midterms turnout in 30 years. (The highest was in 2018.)

“It is reproductive rights, climate change, immigration, racial justice, gender justice,” says Wihbey, listing the issues that drove young people to the polls.

Young evangelicals are not that different from their more liberal peers, according to a recent survey.

“They are diversity and equity conscious, more so than older generations and, therefore, they're going to take those things seriously and listen to people who talk about those things, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] or [Vermont Sen.] Bernie Sanders,” says Kevin Singer, co-director of Neighborly Faith, a partner in the study. “They're very, I guess you could say, cosmopolitan when it comes to their political perspectives.”
These are significant changes.

Much more to look at on the site I referred you to on the first page of this thread. Hopefully you weren’t derailed from reading ‘deep’ as a result of Res Ipsa’s negative comment.

There are trends which ARE and have been occurring that ought to be of interest to everyone.

MG
