This is the same thing they did when Bolsonaro won election, and did pretty much nothing for Brazil. The problems in that part of the world can almost be entirely reduced to corruption, which is rampant. Has nothing to do with socialism vs capitalism. Both Brazil and Argentina are capitalist countries.

What would voting Republican do, to fight inflation? I’m not aware of any serious policy proposals from that side of the aisle that claim to combat inflation, and the spending policies of Republican Administrations through the past few decades don’t seem to be any different than their Democratic Party counterparts. And Trump added to the debt, too.
