That this place might be a bit more like an asylum than I thought joking. I didn't learn much more than I already detected.
Are you joking really?
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.β
I think maybe I worried about offending people more than I needed to.
One thing I've learned about this joint, is that no matter how rough-and-tumble it may get, it's ultimately kind of a family.
I don't doubt for a second that those who seem like the most ardent "enemies" here would immediately jump to action if the other was in need. I've seen it happen before, with some pretty toxic posters, where when they needed something, people here mobilized.
Try not to worry. I totally understand (it's a constant source of anxiety for me that I'll say something that is incredibly stupid, or will make people think less of me, or that will cause a hurt that someone will carry with them), but ultimately you've got to trust to people here are genuinely good and kind, and see you as genuinely good and kind also. One of the greatest expressions of trust, is being able to be wrong, and/or point out when someone else is wrong, knowing that those moments will lead to growth rather than regression.
You're a good egg Pirate. We see it. Now go forth, and post with a clean heart.
You confirmed that a random sample reflects the whole.
Are you feeling random today.
I'm feeling a bit low today. But it know it will pass.
You've been on my mind a lot today. I replied to your PM over at your place. I hadn't seen it before today, sorry. I hope all is well.
Todayβs miracle indeed was a strange twist with MakerBee/Israel connotations.

No, the passage from Isaiah 4:1 is not about a traditional form of marriage. It's a metaphor for a future time of restoration and social stability, where women, who were often marginalized, would seek respectability and avoid stigma by being associated with a man. However, it's not a literal scenario of marriage as we understand it today.
Rocket Man is indeed a man.
Perhaps via association with the Gravity Powered Air Derbies Association.
Build up of 3 launchers and 27 rocket kits is likely in progress.
Air derbies remain mostly associated with women, but Gravity Wizards are non-gender specific.
