I think if you just watch the dramatization at the beginning you get the idea. A manly pastor wearing a black robe makes eye contact with one of the brothers in the audience, "it's time". He slowly removes his robe and the men of the church gather outside with their muskets ready to do the right thing. (That means that they all had their muskets inside the church with them.)

The main takeaway is that the only "big lie" is the separation of church and state. And it's time to explicitly get involved in politics and advocate for a Christian nation. The fault isn't with the left, the fault is with the preachers. Had the preachers done their duty, the left would have never risen to power. Oh, and some of the more aggressive ones find a way around free speech applying to liberal ideas. Contra your initial observation that Trump won't attack free speech itself. Again, these Trump pastors would likely turn their muskets on each other before any liberals as when the day comes, the biggest fight will be to secure the top ranks within Christ's army. Later I'll try to close the loophole you might be looking for that this is only a metaphor. The literal gun wielding part in the 2.0 version today.

It should be noted that Gen. (Ret.) Michael Flynn is heading up the Black Robe thing. Gen. Flynn arguably has the best track record for a military intelligence operations officer in the history of the United States. He knows how to task and organize, and has extensive experience in identifying and degrading enemy networks, which would also work toward putting together an extensive networks of people for what would most likely be an insurgency. The threat he poses to our nation’s peace and security cannot be understated. It would take just a few thousand people working in a coordinated fashion to really put the hurt on this country, so I guess we’ll see how far these guys go.

Punctuation can make reading much easier. Getting it right takes some time; you have to read your text aloud to an audience, mentally.

I've been doing some writing in the voice of a character who is supposed to think quickly and clearly. One way I try to give her narration that feel is to keep most sentences short and otherwise minimise punctuation. I don't know whether that writing style actually works for most readers. Maybe it's not as clear as I think it is.

It does force me, at least, to understand more clearly what it is that I want to say. I find it takes me more time to re-write a sentence to make it clear without commas than it would to clarify the sentence with commas. So although it may perhaps be possible to write clearly without much punctuation, I don't think it's easy.
