I hope Biden performs better in the next debate. I was shocked at how weakly he responded to easily refutable lies that Trump repeated and how the moderators made little or no effort to fact check Trump's most blatant lies. They sometimes almost made it seem like they were on Trump's side. Also, Biden failed to adequately emphasize his most outstanding accomplishments, such as the CHIPs act and his infrastructure bill. I wish, more than ever, that Biden had wisely and humbly chosen to step aside at the end of his first term and pass the baton on to someone younger and healthier. I still think Sheldon Whitehouse (for example) would be an excellent successor to Biden.

I was very surprised that they left it up to Biden to fact check. It's not like partisan Democrat journalist to hold a fair debate with consistent rules for both sides. Where was Candy Crowley whe you needed her right?

When you're a very old 81 years and have been a lying, influence pedaling, corrupt politician for over 50 years it gets difficult to keep up with your own lies and get your story straight. Democrats saw how difficult it was for Biden to keep his lies straight even from friendly questioning from his own DOJ in his testimony for mishandling of classied documents. The public wasn't allowed to see but the deep state saw it. Emperor Obama saw it. Jill Biden saw it. So why on earth did they allow him to go out there and make a fool of himself. Was Robert Kennedy that unpalatable to the hard left? Perhaps more difficult for Emperor Obama to control behinx the scenes? This is bordering on elder abuse.

I think you're confused. While Trump was found guilty of violating political contribution laws in the past, and had to pay hefty fines because of his life-long pathological inability to follow the law, he only became an official politician somewhat recently. Also, Trump is 78 years old.

Gunnar I think you're right that Dana Bash and Jake Tapper weren't nearly as partisan nor did they interfere in this debate. I was totally wrong in how I expected them to moderate this debate. Why did they do that? Once again, Breitbart has the answer,
