I wanted to offer you some advice about your personal meltdown on the board last night. Clearly, I was the person who triggered your meltdown and because of that, I wanted to offer you some advice that I strongly believe will help you.
This obsession you have with your personal political ideology is keeping you in bondage - It has you in chains - It is preventing you from having free thought and it is preventing you from having the ability to reason and maintain balance. None of these things are good for you and none of them will bring you peace or joy. In addition, you are at great risk of losing your individuality - devaluing yourself - and in exchange, you are left with the only option left, to prioritize becoming a member of a political group. Much better to fly your own plane than to sit in the back of the plane and allow someone else to fly. Understand, if you're not flying, you have no say in where the plane lands - You're just a passenger along for the ride.
You need to remove these shackles that you have placed upon yourself. You need to be free of them. You need to stop believing that you, and you alone, are the informed one. This type of self-centered arrogance can be destructive. Perhaps most importantly, you need to find the wisdom that will help to move you to a place where you begin to you see your political views as exactly and only what they are - Your political views. Nothing more and nothing less. They are just your political views.
I hope you take my advice - You really do need it.
