So The Lincoln Project put out a video on this the other day. Hope it's okay with you, Kish, that I post the link here. Not sure it fits your OP. Run time less than 5 minutes.

See if you think any of this is plausible.

I watched this. The entire 4:14 minute video is a hypothetical prediction. It is the definition of a conspiracy theory. Those promoting it have a grudge, obviously. Their guys have been losing for a long time. The third term BS is beyond the pale. But meh.... whatever. It is hypothetical conspiracy porn mean to incite rage and promote division. Notice, the Lincoln Project is never about solutions, including solutions for child porn and soliciting minors which a found of LP is guilty of doing.
John Weaver, a longtime Republican strategist and co-founder of the prominent anti-Trump group the Lincoln Project, has for years sent unsolicited and sexually provocative messages online to young men, often while suggesting he could help them get work in politics, according to interviews with 21 men who received them.

One of the less-discussed absurdities of Trump's platform is the proposed tariff on foreign-made goods, which are supposed to be sharp enough to force an increase in domestic production. In the short term, a tariff of the size the platform proposes would cause massive inflation, estimated at $1,700 per household. The effects would be so extreme that sixteen Nobel Prize-winning economists released a public statement opposing the tariff. That article estimates that it would increase expenses by an average of $1,700 per household.

Similarly, a crackdown on immigration would have massive effects on farming. An anti-immigrant law that was passed in Florida last year drove farmworkers to disappear and left fruit rotting on the ground. Imagine that extended to the entire country, and think what would happen to food prices.

Presidential platforms almost always promise more than they can deliver; many policies are unwise, and even the most reality-based proposals will get watered down by negotiation when they reach Congress. But those in the Trump plan are so extreme and self-contradictory that they're no different from ads for miracle weight-loss cures (no changes to diet or exercise required!). But what would you expect when the candidate's prior experience is a lifelong career as a con artist?

Correct me please. I could be wrong. There are cons to mass illegal immigration and zero tariffs. The mass illegal immigration is particularly detriminental to inner city communites, no? Isn't that what Mayor Adams is saying? Again, I could be wrong. Perhaps the mass illegal immigration is helping the inner city of NYC and the citizens want more.

There is an example of how the inner city views the mass illegal immigration. It is a replacement. I have a hunch that Trump gets this. I have another hunch that this is a na na na na na na na na I can't hear you and I did not see Biden stumbling moment.

Trump probably does, considering that he takes advantage of the situation himself.

More than 100 undocumented immigrants worked at Trump’s Bedminster resort during construction
BY JOHN BOWDEN - 02/08/19 12:04 PM ET

Dozens of immigrants who did not have legal status worked on the construction and operation of President Trump’s resort in Bedminster, N.J., according to a new report by The Washington Post.

At one time, the Post reports that more than 100 workers without legal status were under employment at the resort.

Sixteen such workers from Costa Rica and other Latin American nations spoke with The Washington Post and claimed they worked previously at the Bedmister resort illegally, while some said that at one time more than 100 workers without legal status who were employed by the organization lived together.

“Many of us helped him get what he has today,” one Costa Rican construction worker, Dario Angulo, told the Post. “This golf course was built by illegals.”
“For me, moving to the U.S. wasn’t a very drastic change,” added Mauricio Garro, a 36-year-old maintenance worker who was employed at Bedminster until 2010. “My whole town practically lived there.”

One former housekeeper at the resort told the Post that it was known by staff that managers at the resort didn’t care about workers’ legal status.

It would be one thing if Trump had really ever cared about more than symbolic action regarding illegal immigration. As president Trump was most successful in reducing legal, not illegal immigration. https://www.cato.org/blog/president-tr ... migration He builds a wall so that supporters have something tangible to point to when they are asked what Trump did to fight immigration. Easy. He built a wall.

And that is a Trumpy thing to do. It is all about convincing people he did something great regardless of its actual effectiveness. All that is important to him is the positive benefit for him personally when his supporters are satisfied he did this stuff they can see pictures of. He built the wall.

Trump Steaks. Trump Vodka. Trump Airlines. Trump University. All failures from a man who usually has no idea what needs to be done to make businesses work. He could use daddy’s money to borrow more money to do things that resulted in bankrupt businesses. These days he treats his presidency like a marketing opportunity for selling people worthless crap that puts his brand everywhere.

Garbage loser pseudo-capitalism. The only winner at this casino is Trump. Everyone else who plays is a sucker. And that is what he really thinks of them too.

Somewhat amusingly, after Trump built whatever wall that he did build, immigration subsequently increased.

Unlike Trump's rhetoric or his platform.

Did it fall down? Did it not work? Did someone pull it down?

Are you trying to tell me that it was never finished and it was a dumb idea to begin with?

Thanks for posting that, Jersey. That is certainly a worst case scenario, but it lines up with the direction Trump seems to be going with his plans and choice of assistants. To call it a “conspiracy theory” is a level of fatuousness that I hope is not too costly for those who believe it, if in fact they are sincere. It really makes one wonder.
