I'm unclear on something. What is the difference between battleground and key states? Are those the same? I think a key state is a state with the higher number of electoral votes (ex: PA?) and battleground states are those that could go either way?

How close did I get? Anyone?

Yes and yes. Pennsylvania is a key swing state as whoever wins it has a much more clear path to 270 with its 19 electoral votes. Losing Pennsylvania would make it hard for Trump, maybe impossible for Harris to win if everything else goes off in line with the polling.

That's what I'm afraid of too! I'm heartbroken! How could so many voters who obviously opposed the banning of Roe vs. Wade still have voted for the villain who made that happen? Do any of them think that all the recent votes to restore abortion rights will last very long with him back in power? It doesn't make any sense! And now, he will have the power to get all the criminal cases against him dismissed. How is anyone going to limit his power to do whatever he wants to do? The cognizant level of the Americans who still support him is nearly equivalent to that of flat earth believers!

Had your party not resorted to such unethical tactics in the first place, you might have won the election. Harris could have offered to pardon Trump during her campaign. That would have been wise politically. But the Democrat hatred of deplorables and garbage MAGA Republicans was too great and she just couldn't do it. I'm for compromise and hope Republicans can govern as moderately as possible. But the lawfare and seeking to financially ruin anyone who exercises their 1st amendment rights against the administrative state needs to stop. You have your state abortion laws. You have your state and local taxes that you can implement in your blue communities. You can even have your state pay reparations, put boys in girls bathroom or whatever you want. Just allow conservative people who don't want that kind of thing the freedom to move to Florida and we can still get along.
