This reminded me of an interesting quirk of history: did you know that there once existed something called The Association of German National Jews?

The Association of German National Jews (German: Verband nationaldeutscher Juden) was a German Jewish organization during the Weimar Republic and the early years of Nazi Germany that eventually came out in support of Adolf Hitler.
It primarily attracted members from the anticommunist middle class, small business owners, self-employed professionals such as physicians and lawyers, national conservatives, and nationalist World War I veterans, many of whom believed that Nazi antisemitism was only a rhetorical tool used to "stir up the masses."

It ended up not working out too well.

In some spaces politics is generally frowned upon, I have gotten a very strong "it's the economy". They don't believe the extreme bad stuff will come to pass, and they want to "be able to afford to live again." They even are buying in that maybe things will get worse before it gets better, everyone needs to tighten their belts, except the mega-rich, but we can't ask them to pitch in. So then the timing comes in, it is possible Trump messes up the economy so bad that the mid-terms or next presidency everyone will vote for change and it might be enough of a wave to overcome how things will be rigged for Republicans.

In the meantime Ukraine might suffer in a way that will take decades to overcome. I feel for the people in Palestine, but it will be hard to commiserate with Arab Americans and others that protest voted or stayed home if the concept of Palestine is buried in rubble.

A shared view on capitalism, private property, and free market economics brought people together. In my case I'm even closer with many Hispanics with whom I now work and serve in church. There really is no more Nephites or Lamanites for me.

Until ICE shows up and sends your brothers packing. If Trump makes good on his threat, I don't know how you're going to achieve 20 million without many of these brothers of yours getting the boot. It certainly won't be 20 million white professionals like me who voted democrat getting deported nor will it be inner-city blacks who (valiantly) voted for Harris. I honestly feel much better that 53% of Latino men voted Trump so I don't have to feel bad when their families are torn apart, as they are on the front lines.

I do have some hope, and if I were religious I'd be praying, that Nick Fuentes is right, and that Trump is full of crap, and will only go about deportations among other things half-heartedly, and mostly he just wants the worship and grifting that goes along with being the world's number one reality star.

lol. sure. You'll first need to pay for the lawyer to get a waiver in order to clear the unlawful entry, which is a permanent ban from ever coming in legally. They don't hand those out like candy now, and they certainly won't when Trump is president. That is, if they aren't in prison before that, according to Trump's plan to imprison illegals. Legal immigration is nearly impossible for the folks at the greatest risk of getting kicked out, Trump will only make it harder. Your best bet will be to send your wife over to bring them back in her SUV.

But I admire the full circle. You've been complaining for years about illegal immigrants being the real "stolen election" playbook by Democrats who allow people, who in your mind vote blue, but now that Latino men just voted Trump in, your final "stolen election" lie is debunked, and you're stroking your chin at the possibilities: what if there is a way to protect my illegal brothers if they vote Trump once we make them citizens? What if the Republican party could come together and only bring Trump supporters in?

Adding on: I continued to explore my right wing frenemy's situation and he confirmed that wife's grandma and grandpa both entered illegally, and my own prejudice was apparently hard at work because I have only asked about his wife who I know is Mexican (and unhinged Trump); he offered without me asking -- his mom came in illegally on a boat and has all these great stories. So his family exists here 3/4 thanks to illegal immigration. To put the cherry on the top, His wife's mom and dad are the kindest people you'd ever meat, per him, his mom was the best, per him, and his dad, the only US citizen in his line tried to kill him and his brother with a hammer.

How about you Ceeboo? Are you one of these right-wing hypocrites who is here thanks to a parent or grandparent coming in illegally and then because you were born here, you're a citizen automatically -- something else Trump wants to end?

I wonder how many Trump supporters have a US passport? Those who don't, I have to wonder if they can prove they are citizens.

It’s amazing how much more accepting of brown people the right has gotten now that it’s realized that there are brown conservatives, too. Hell, Ronald Reagan realized that when he welcomed immigrants from South of the border as assets to America. One of the potential upsides to this election that I see is that the ridiculous notion that Ds want to flood the nation with brown people who will automatically vote for them will be tossed onto the trash heap where it belongs. Having Relief Society dependent on non-white voters to win a national election will be more healthy. (As will the silly Ds that thought demographics is destiny.)

Trump won 46% of the hispanic vote and 20% of black men. You lost an election and also the popular vote. That's not authoritarianism. That's the definition of the word democracy. You might argue it's a tyrannical majority. I'm still down for a national divorce, but I doubt you'd ever agree to that. The left trying to assassinate, persecute, prosecute, impeach or bankrupt our president is not saving democracy. It's actually the very authoritarian thing you're accusing us of.

Seriously why don't you and Schmo just go back to Honduras if you hate deplorable American garbage so much? Or at the very least stand up and be violent with honor with a formal secession and declaration of war. Don't resort to cowardly terrorism and assassination. That's dishonorable.
