Profound sadness and despair that more than half of my fellow American bits of sentient carbon voted for someone who ran his campaign on dehumanization and demonization of other fellow bits of sentient carbon including my family and friends.
29% of eligible voters cast their ballot for Trump, as I understand it. Is that percentage incorrect?
I tried to address this in my own fumbling way in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=159255 That 30% or so of registered voters looked the other way does not inspire much hope.

Nobody in my ward is here illegally.
I will guarantee you that if you have a Spanish-speaking ward at your location, that there are many more of those members than you want to imagine who are not legal citizens.

They’re certainly not going to tell you about their status, though.

Let’s hope that it all works out for them. Community is important, too.
I was talking about the election today with a Venezuelan conservative. He asked how we would work the farms without immigrants. I found myself agreeing with him. We need a merit based immigration system. My latino conservative brethren have one me over with their love as of late. Many of them probably are smarter than me. They're certainly tougher and able to live on less. Yet not once has any of them given me crap about having white privilege, insuinuated that I owe them something, or feel cheated because I was born in this country and make three times more money than they do. The honest conservative Latino people that aren't seduced by socialism, envy, and perpetual racial victimhood and grievance, have made my life much better as of late and I'm grateful to have them here and supporting our own common cause. It'd be worth it to me to sponsor any one of them that bring this attitude and conservative values. It's the Schmos, Che Guevaras, and Fidel Castros that need to be cast out and kept out.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

What about the Haitians who are eating the cats and dogs? Plus, who will keep us safe until Elon Musk furnishes the Christian space lasers?

You're leaving the United States for a reason that existed from the day you arrived?

Apparently. It took Trump for me to realize Americans are spoiled morons.

It is hard to argue with this. I guess we can all sit back and and watch it burn.

Based on the recent polls in Kansas and Iowa, Harris gets a larger share of the popular and electoral votes than Biden in 2020.
They definitely look very positive but I'm trying not to huff too much copium here. My gut still says a close race but maybe not as tight as I previously thought. My hope is that I'm just being overly pessimistic and we're looking at 350 plus.
These were Professor Lichtman's polls. She's an expert, right?

Ceeboo wasn't buying what the experts were selling. Here were my predictions (copied from the OP):

Mine: Trump wins the electoral college fairly easily (300 plus) and Trump, for the first time in a long time, wins the national majority vote (by a fairly slim margin)
Imagine that.

Not many right-minded people would have predicted that a majority of American voters would be brainless enough to vote a convicted felon into high office. Again. Will you be drinking bleach to cure Covid Ceeboo? If not, why not?
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
