Preemptive Pardons from Wrath of Trump

President Biden is considering preemptive pardons for House Select Impeachment Committee members and Dr. Anthony Faucci. Trump has vowed retribution on all of these people. He should probably also pardon Jack Smith, Merrick Garland, and any other prosecutors involved with the Trump trials. Dr. Jill Biden and the rest of the Biden children. These people should be protected from the criminal wrath of Trump.

I say let the preemptive pardons flow freely. Trump is a maniac. Take him at his word when he says irresponsible, stupid, and insane things.

While I think this is probably an unfortunate necessary protection, it does open the door for Trump to issue his own blanket pardons for all of his associates and family.

It’s my understanding that Biden’s blanket pardon for crimes that may or may not have happened over a decade+ is beyond the pale. Here is a left wing legal YouTube channel which calls it an abuse of power:

I have to reiterate this again, even some Democrats who vehemently oppose Trump believe that what Biden did was problematic, at best. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
