I highly recommend it, as someone who was in a similar sized forum that migrated from this same older forum software to discourse. They even managed to keep all the old posts seamlessly.

X/Twitter and YouTube videos are doable as well as subscript, superscript text.
Happy to share me codes, and am interested is some good spoiler code if anyone is so inclined.

I have found Discourse to be a little buggy when you are trying to use your phone. Several groups that I use Discourse for, I can only access via computer. They don’t synch up well with the Discourse app. Now, I have not actually administered or back coded in Discourse, so those bugs might exist due to how whomever is administrating those sites have things lined up.

I think that a worthwhile feature to add to this board is a grammar check. It can help members get their point across and help eliminate run on sentences that can distract from actual content. Here is a link to some PHP freeware for this:
