Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Just loving people no matter what IHQ, and would speak out if I encountered anyone in my personal life being mistreated for any reason.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:25 amIt’s literally a discussion board.

Ah sorry, I thought you were asking about "doing something" in the sense of trying to make a change for all rather than just being nice to people you encounter. In that case, I'm doing the same as you and a little bit more - I'm speaking out against it on a message board, you...not so much. One wonders why you criticise me for bumping my gums when you're not even doing that. Do you approve of what Trump is doing with the DEI?msnobody wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 2:40 amJust loving people no matter what IHQ, and would speak out if I encountered anyone in my personal life being mistreated for any reason.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:25 amIt’s literally a discussion board.

(Which now includes blaming them out of hand without evidence for causing plane accidents)

I’m talking about intentionally becoming involved in the lives of people with the intent of hopefully having a positive impact in their lives. Showing that you care for individuals, because you do care.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:04 amAh sorry, I thought you were asking about "doing something" in the sense of trying to make a change for all rather than just being nice to people you encounter. It may take you by surprise, it certainly did with me, that some of the questions I’ve had to ask patients, as a product of DEI, about “how you identify,” were met with disdain by “lesbian, gay, queer, other, and I don’t knows.” A majority didn’t like that they were being asked this question on an annual basis.

I can imagine how differing perspectives would react to the question. What do you note or interpret as the cause for the disdain?msnobody wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 4:08 pmIt may take you by surprise, it certainly did with me, that some of the questions I’ve had to ask patients, as a product of DEI, about “how you identify,” were met with disdain by “lesbian, gay, queer, other, and I don’t knows.” A majority didn’t like that they were being asked this question on an annual basis.

Could you elaborate on the reasons why you are concerned about this?Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 11:05 amCould you elaborate on the reasons for a diplomatic building to display a pride or BLM flag?

Msnobody, I can sympathize with the disdain from people which you mention. I incline not think some of such questions are other people's business and I think the pronoun thing is a fad of little value. I do not recall having been asked about such things from medical providers or hospital which is ok. (What pronoun do you prefer? I like his majesty but can get by accepting more common ones.)canpakes wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 10:27 pmI can imagine how differing perspectives would react to the question. I am puzzled as to why such questions would be part of DEI. Of course DEI is not some set procedure but goals which people may try different avenues to approach. Possibly even some lame ones.

Hi I Have Questions,The US Department of State has banned consular posts from flying any flags other than that of the US as part of the Trump administration’s pledge to crack down on diversity efforts in government institutions.
How do consular posts flying only United States of America flags equate to gay people no longer being safe?
