It seems like Hound of Heaven is looking for any excuse or justification to support Trump. Everything HoH has brought up thus far has been a flat failure. There is a world of difference between experienced politicians and bureaucrats carefully and deliberately combing through programs and expenditures to identify ways of saving money, and a drug-addled billionaire with his coterie of traitor tots hacking and slashing indiscriminately through employees, programs, and expenditures without the least inkling of understanding what they are for.

Quit excusing transparent incompetence and corruption, Hound of Heaven. Wokeness may drive you around the bend, but it is nothing in comparison with the wrecking ball of Trump and Co. I really don't get your eagerness to strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.

Seasoned politicians and bureaucrats are the very individuals who have led us into over 30 trillion in debt, do you really believe they can find a way to resolve it? If that's the case, you're merely assisting me in clarifying what I've consistently stated regarding the detrimental effects of progressivism.

We are losing the youth vote to the Republican Party, and if we continue to oppose DOGE, we will never win another election. Young individuals aspire to save money, purchase a home, and invest in their future. They are weary of listening to how we old timers have burdened them with over 30 trillion in debt. They are indifferent to whether it's the Republicans or Democrats who resolve the debt crisis, their primary concern is simply that it gets resolved.

Nah. I just listened to everything he said, as opposed to trying, as you have, to pretend that Phillips is talking about Trump or alleged support of him (he isn’t), or that Phillips is in 100% support of Musk’s approach (he isn’t).

He states, at 2:30 with regard to the DoD, “I do find it interesting Mr. Musk hasn’t started with the single biggest source of waste … that’s where the biggest savings will be found.”

Good points are also made at 3:30 through 3:50, where Phillips makes his “where’s the beef?” comment.

I have finally come to realize who you bring to mind. You resemble the Ward Radio of progressive ideals. Or more precisely, the Cardin Ellis of progressivism. To you, progressivism can do no wrong.

Trump's net ten-year debt was 8.4T. 4.8T of that was non-COVID. That non-COVID debt was more than the entirety of Biden's net ten-year debt, which included his 2.1T American Rescue Plan. In other words, over a fourth of our massive debt was added under only a single term of Trump.

It seems that "seasoned politicians and bureaucrats" were exponentially better at keeping us from spiraling into debt than the billionaire that is once again at the helm. Incidentally, Republicans have already put into action a plan to raise the debt ceiling twice as high as Biden's ARP cost. Right out the gate, they are saying "we're going to do at least as much debt spending as the Socialism Communist Marxist Leftist Biden."

While Republicans have put into action the massive debt ceiling expansion, Trump has stated that he would prefer the statutory debt limit be eliminated all-together. Seems rather strange in conjunction with DOGE's awesomeness. Then again, maybe, like DOGE, they don't understand how decimal places work, and they actually only wanted to raise the debt ceiling 4 billion instead of 4 trillion.
