Trump Brings People Together... in Canada
A video popped up in my YouTube feed about Canadians' reaction to Trump's tariffs and saying Canada should be the 51st state... Canadians are livid. It was a video about how Canadian liberals and conservatives all agree on one thing: Trump's a douche.
And you know how it goes on YouTube; you watch a video on one subject and suddenly you're offered a whole bunch more addressing the same subject. I've been on a little tour of Canada and listening to what they have to say. OMG, it's so refreshing to hear normal people making common sense points without any sensationalism or faux outcry. I find myself pretty impressed with our neighbors to the north.
I just watched a video about a guy whose business is suffering because it's a duty-free shop at one of the boarder crossings. He says his sales revenue is down 80% since the Premier of British Columbia asked his citizens to boycott America and American-made products.
Many of the comments in the video thread echoed the same sentiment: I feel bad for this guy, but his complaints need to be directed at the Trumpster fire, not his fellow Canadians. There were also many comments from both Canadians on non-Canadians about how they won't travel to America or buy anything American made until the US gets its crap together (dumps Trump).
The southern whiskey distilleries are suddenly taking a huge financial hit because Canadians have stopped buying their bourbon. The American travel industry is taking a hit. Just a couple examples of the immediate harm Trump's done to his own country.
And let's just remember: NONE of this was necessary or even on any sane person's radar. He's just causing misery because misery loves company (which I've basically determined is the moron's motivation for everything he does).
Anyway... GO CANADA! Love you guys!! Americans need to be made to suffer, or they'll never damned learn.
Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, is charging American households in MN, MI, and NY 25% more for the electricity Ontario provides those states starting today, and is threatening to cut them off completely unless/until Trump ends his bogus (and illegal under his own trade agreement signed his first term) tariff war.
Trump is realigning the global economy against America (Canada is making deals with the EU and China to replace lost exports to the US), and his idiot base thinks that's good. This is what happens when your electorate is vastly undereducated.
Another thing that's happened the last couple months in Canada is that the Canadian Liberal party is surging in the polls. They expect Mark Carney, Trudeau's replacement, to win Canada's next election. This is a huge swing from the 8-9 point lead the Conservative party had a couple months ago when Trump began his term.
Nothing gives me a charge like watching Canadians talk about Trump the way I've wished Americans would for the last 10 years. They aren't lickspittles and punch-pullers like the American media is. I've never watched anywhere near this much Canadian news before, and I have to say I'm getting addicted. I think I might want to move to Canada now.
Just for clarity (my own), Mark Carney, by virtue of having been elected leader to the Liberal Party, will take over as Canada's PM after Trudeau resigns and serve until the next election.
Regardless, the polls are much closer than they were not too long ago.

Trump has gained appreciation in Russia but emnity toward America elsewhere. It is so bad that Trump bought a Tesla to help prop Elon Musk up.

So you're a lifelong Democrat who thinks Canadians are pieces of crap.
Like we didn't already know you're a pathological liar.

Hound, that A.I. image is assembled about as shoddily as your ‘arguments’.
