A 12 year old boy has the authority to pass the sacrament. No woman, regardless of age, can do the same.
A 16 years old boy has the authority to bless the sacrament. No woman, regardless of age, can do the same.
An over 18 male has the authority to ordain people, can bless a child, can bless a sick person, can serve on the Bishopric. No woman can.
Men can hold conferences without any woman being present. For women to hold conferences, a man has to be present.
If a Relief Society President wants to appoint someone to a position of her counsellor, a man has to do it for her.
The idea that a woman “exercises” priesthood power, is mealy mouthed sleight of hand. It’s dishonest “spin” designed to keep those uppety women quiet and to portray to the world the misleading notion that there’s equality in the Church. There ain’t. Anyone that tries to out forward that notion is either being deliberately dishonest, or they are gullible.
And it's spin that was never taught, until they started coming under fire. The dishonesty of making up reasons after the fact is disturbing.
So Elohim is so jealous that women can give birth and He cannot, He imposes a patriarchy? What a mensch that Elohim is.
Umm...that's not what I said. Go back and read for comprehension.

Sock puppet, I've noticed in our conversations you have a tendency to use phrases that seem to turn things around and then ask a question on your 'turn around'. I think that's called a strawman, of sorts.
You ought to actually listen/read what is actually being communicated. I try to be clear.
It's difficult to respond to your comments if they really don't directly deal with what I've said in original context/form.
Yes, these apologetics can all be disproven, yet apologists make them up anyway.
I think you would agree (you've done it many times) that it serves a purpose to 'call out' others when they are not being at least somewhat rigorous in their sources.
I know I've been called out here and there and had to go back and do a bit more digging. In this instance I don't think Wang even made any admission to 'fouling up'.

I think I gave a rather good response earlier. You seem to be so focused on women being like men and visa versa that you can't accept certain practices within a religious organization as being useful/valid.
Nothing is going to change that.
There is no dishonesty here, unless it is on your part.

Yes. It’s entirely retrospective and defensive messaging, designed by men to justify keeping women in what they see as “their place”.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
So Elohim is so jealous that women can give birth and He cannot, He imposes a patriarchy? What a mensch that Elohim is.
You misunderstand Mormon Doctrine:
Nature of God in Mormonism: In Mormon belief, God the Father (Elohim) is considered the literal, glorified, male parent of all human spirits and possesses a perfected physical body. The doctrine also includes a Heavenly Mother, who is the female counterpart to God the Father, and together they are regarded as the parents of human spirits. The idea that God would be "jealous" of a female biological function does not fit within this framework, since God is seen as the ultimate source of both male and female creation and attributes.
Role of Heavenly Mother: Mormon theology explicitly acknowledges a Heavenly Mother, suggesting that the divine model includes both male and female, and that the ability to "give birth" to spirits is not exclusive to women on earth, but is part of the divine partnership in heaven. Thus, the premise that God is somehow envious of women’s reproductive capacity is a mischaracterization of Mormon cosmology.
Logical and Theological Flaws
Anthropomorphizing Divine Motivation: The comment attributes a very human, petty emotion—jealousy over biological functions—to a being that, in Mormon belief, is omnipotent, omniscient, and the ultimate creator. It is illogical to suggest that such a being would be motivated by envy of human reproductive biology, especially since, within Mormonism, God’s power and creative abilities far surpass human limitations.
Origin of Patriarchy: The assertion that patriarchy was imposed because of divine jealousy oversimplifies and misrepresents both the historical and doctrinal origins of gender roles in Mormonism. The structure of priesthood and gender roles in the LDS Church is complex and rooted in scriptural interpretation, tradition, and evolving cultural norms, not a simplistic emotional reaction by God.
Perplexity A.I.
I realize that the original comment was made in order to make a mockery of LDS beliefs and/or its leaders/people.
That you would fall prey to this lack of logical thinking is not surprising.
