The Governor Trudeau thing as an example was classic and very funny, I know there is something inside you that admits it. .Did it help the conservative Canadian candidate? No, but it was classically funny and showed his wit...
You thought that was 'classically funny' and showed 'wit'? Really.
...He is actually very funny in that he knows how to get under the skin of folks that hate him...
That's not being funny, that's being a bully and acting like an ass.
...Was it presidential? No...
That's for damn sure. It's funny how people expect a president to 'act presidential' and not like a classless, mannerless, characterless idiot.

Trump has done irreparable damage to the United States reputation re foreign relations. I don't think we will ever recover from this animal.
Actually he is starting to straighten out the mess that Biden left us in. Despite his style, he reflects strength, while Biden reflected, as Morley put it well, a bumbling, incompetent, grandpa. If he saw it in the debate, what do you think our adversaries and allies were seeing? Foreign countries respect strength and not weakness, it is just the way it is.

I’m not seeing that. With higher prices on the horizon, a budget that adds 10% more to our debt, obvious grift and pay-to-play from memecoin scams and airplane bribes, gasoline prices up while production has dropped below the levels during the previous Administration, and purposeful attempts to stoke division by manipulating ICE raids while ending up with just about the same numbers of deportees to date as the last Administration, Trump seems intent on creating more mess than you think he’s solving.

Lol, well for one the context was respect as being president with our foreign adversaries and allies, in that they saw Biden as a bumbling, incompetent, grandpa......but I am sure you are not seeing it, you did not even see it in the post I wrote.

I have said here it is that latter, but not stupid, but who he is.
He's damned mentally retarded.
He is a narcissist for sure, and loves to hear himself talk, and I think bloviate is the best term at his rallies. He is actually very funny in that he knows how to get under the skin of folks that hate him. The Governor Trudeau thing as an example was classic and very funny, I know there is something inside you that admits it. Was it presidential? No....Did it help the conservative Canadian candidate? No, but it was classically funny and showed his wit.
He's as funny as a tumor. Do you laugh at the three stooges, too?

Lots of people have said he's funny, and every single one of them is damned dumb for thinking it. Only a dimwit would laugh at that moron.
He is dumb as a fox, and actually listens to people when he wants to, and I think a good way to put it is that he is not afraid to win like 99% of all politicians on both sides. He has a vision and he believes in it, whether you or anyone else does or not, and he is willing to go for it 100%, and if it isn't working, he has no issues with adapting.
He's too stupid to understand that he's stupid, and when you combine that with shamelessness, he's just a bull in a china shop rampaging idiotically, because he's angry and mindless.
We had two choices Schmo, and for me it was easy for so many reasons.
Which is why I can't help but admit you are a flat out moron. It was easy for me too. I didn't want America to turn fascist (go look that word up so you know what I mean) and I was never interested in giving a convicted felon a lifetime pardon.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

Morley: God, Markk, you’ve mentioned this a half dozen times, so you must have really been hurt by it. I admit that up until now, I'd thought you were kidding about this, but apparently, when I teased you a little about your politics, it really stung. I misjudged your level of defensiveness and sensitivity. I apologize.

Maybe you should have labeled the art thread as a "politics free zone,” so I would have known. Perhaps then, I wouldn't have baited you and hurt your feelings so badly. Art is, by definition, inherently political--but I should have guessed you'd think otherwise. It's my bad that I didn't give it a second thought.
It doesn't bother me at all, it is what it is. I am a big boy and take crap from 95% of responders to my posts here, I actually enjoy the underdog position. What it did is show what you thought, and it is hardly a tease. come on.

It's interesting that someone as anti-DEI as you would spotlight Bramblitt.

If the man were not blind, his work would be seen as unremarkable.

edit: Let me change that: His work is unremarkable.
So, it hurt when I told you that I wasn’t fond of Bramblitt? Or when I suggested I thought that he wasn’t good enough to get any recognition at all, if he weren’t blind?

What’s to see? Russia being even more aggressive in Ukraine, while Trump desperately kisses Putin’s arse?

The Billionaire Bratz fight between Addictus Musk and the Fondler in Chief?

Arab oligarchs suckering the Tangerine Toddler into being their bitch with the gift of unwanted aircraft?

What are we supposed to be seeing? : D

Lol...No, it just showed how you think and were being condescending given the thread. You are gentle compared to other folks here Morley, and whether you believe it or not I respect you. If I got offended over things said about me here I would not have been posting here for what....20 years?

Lol, Schmo calls me cuss words I have never even heard before, and I have been in construction for about 50 years.

Oh dear god. No he does NOT. Not at all. He reflects stupidity, nonsense, and assholery.
Foreign countries respect strength and not weakness, it is just the way it is.
And foreign countries no longer respect the U.S. because we have an idiotic clown in office who is uneducated and arrogantly stupid. The whole world is laughing at us.
