And the Bible shines forth like a beacon of light. Fishermen cannot make up some collaborating reality. GOD would not allow it to survive.

Many say the Book of Mormon shines forth like a beacon of light. Men from New York have collaborated that reality and God has allowed it to survive to this day.

The written word has been with us from beginning starting with Moses... Jesus quoted from that Old Testament and in accordance with what was recorded in John 14:26 --- Jesus promises HIS early followers: "But the Helper, the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the FATHER will send in MY name, HE will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." And so the Universal CHURCH was being fed from the prophetic Word of GOD concerning the coming MESSIAH, and as the Apostles wrote various documentation and letters to the various growing church groups.

Never in the entire history of the Written Word of GOD was GOD's HOLY WORD recorded and then hidden from either the Jews nor the growing body of Christians. Yes, the understanding of various portions was held until a specific time appointed by GOD to reveal its meaning. However, it was not lost, stolen, or hidden away for a future date.

This is not so with regard to the Book of Mormon. So for 1800 years the book is stated by Joseph Smith to have been buried. Yes, various books such as those of the apocrypha and various Gnostic literature have been rejected from the Bible Cannon, but they were around for those who wished to read them. The Bible which we possess is all about MESSIAH and how HE relates to us.

The beginning? Beginning between 1526–1406 BCE! That is the beginning of the Jew’s religion.

There are other religious documents (more sound) that far outdate that, my friend.

Anyway, the Jews came rather late on the scene while inventing their religion and making up stories. Everything you read in Genesis comes from Moses -- and I do not believe one word of his nonsense!

Lest you forget, Moses lived under the shadows of the pyramids -- and got the boot! Recall how Manetho (3rd century Egyptian priest and historian) referred to Osareph (Moses) who led lepers and unclean people in a rebellion and after being defeated they were booted out of Egypt!

Good riddance Moses -- a murderer and a liar by biblical definition and a cruel man who led with an iron fist and the spirit of Satan.

Moses likely met Job. One Pharaoh wanted all the Hebrew baby boys killed. The Egyptian rulers all wanted to create dynasties linking themselves to the gods... And they made up stories to exonerate themselves of their failures. The plagues that GOD sent upon Egypt were all an attack upon some Egyptian deity.

Maybe, maybe not. Nobody can prove it.

Says so in the Bible. Not in any Egyptian records. I spent years extensively researching the problems concerning the Pharaoh of the Exodus and became an expert on that subject. Good luck with that, my friend.

There is some truth to that but it is not blanket across the board. You exaggerate.

Nothing more than Jewish fairytales. The 10 Plagues are religious points in which to make a story. They never happened in real life.

I know that with all my heart, mind, and soul.

Amen.

UNIVERSAL RULES: wrote:Do not EVER "link-and-run." If you post a link to something, always describe its content with enough detail so readers can know, in advance, whether it's worth their time to click on it. (Ideally, explain what's at the other end of it, why it's important, and what you hope other readers / viewers learn from it.) RULE OF THUMB: If it's not worth your time to describe it, then it's not worth our time to click on it.

LittleNipper,

Christian apologetic nonsense about ancient Egypt does not deserve my attention. It is anti-science and religious garbage that has no place in higher education.

No thank you
