If calling someone a troll is a personal attack then it would stretch incredulity beyond its snapping point if "pissboy" is not a personal attack also.

I voted. I say leave the moderating the way it is if, in fact, the alternative is to allow some people to troll and others not and where only some personal attacks are subject to moderation.
I have also been very clear that I will do anything that the moderators and owners of this board or forum ask me to do. All my posts can be moderated, deleted or moved. My account is subject to moderation. And if Doc Cam makes another suggestion that he is hacking or doxing I will raise hell again. If he actually hacks or doxes, I will sue the owners of this board.

Moderators have applied and enforced them for years as well. You just happened to stumble in during a period when rules were being violated -- a natural consequence of having no moderator. Your quarrel is not with me or Doc Cam -- it is with the rules Shades set and we have used for years. Read the rules and understand what they allow and don't allow. The only rule Doc Cam is breaking is posting in the wrong section of the board. If you want to rant and rave about Doc Cam, you are free to do so going forward as long as you do it in the right place. What you will not be free to do is spam every thread in Paradise with your ranting about Doc Cam's posts. I completely understand why you hate that notion, as it takes away your ability to disrupt every thread in Paradise. But Shades didn't call for a vote on whether to call for moderators. Shades gets to decide that. He asked some specific questions that I've answered. Whether anyone else answers them is not my concern.

We went through this before when faqs spammed the board. The forum discussion was negatively impacted and this was widely recognized. It led to the creation of the Spirit Prison forum, and it worked.
Given that precedent, it seems like the only issues are around the ability of Shades to moderate on his own versus needing help.

We agree on this. We absolutely agree on this. We have agreed on this from the get-effing-go.
What we do not agree on however, is what are "piles of trolling and personal attacks." The point has been made over and over and your dodging and deflecting is making it more obvious not less. You do not only object to the moderation of trolling and personal attacks, you want MORE as long as it is by Doc Cam and in support of your ideology or agenda. You have not ever objected to pejorative racist insults and pejorative homosexism. You never will, as long as Doc Cam is a bully in support of your cause, you are silent and fine with it. You are not asking for moderation, you are asking Shades to help you by making critics go away and for Shades to help you by allowing your bully to stand tall and unopposed.
No, wrong again. Once Shades gets the moderation re-started, the rules will apply to everyone, like they have in the past. Spirit Prison and Telestial are there for you to post in to your heart's content, but if moderation concludes that a post breaks the rules, including the derailment and personal attack ones, regardless of the author, it will be removed from Spirit Paradise and Terrestrial.
Without moderation, what do we do when rules are violated? I could report the above for violation of Rule 8, but reports don't seem to be addressed any more.

Not bad - But it would have been more effective if you used the capital letters with direct commands to a board member!
Also, if your still not making any progress, you could try Lem's approach in trying to sell something that nobody is buying - You can use large font and bold.
I stand corrected. If one self-labels as a troll, it's difficult to argue the troll label shouldn't apply.
